James says resist the devil and he will flee from you. He didnt say the devil will walk away, he said the devil will FLEE. Satan is terrified of Jesus Christ, if we acknowledge Jesus in everything we do and believe in all our hearts that the battle is already won, then satan will put his little tail (if he has one) between his legs, wet himself and run away!

The bible also says we that even the demons believe and tremble!

They are a terrified, defeated band of angels who lost their place in heaven. Who are they that we should be scared of them! We are royalty who serve the only living KING OF KINGS!

We need to stand strong as Christians cause as long as we are Christian we are in a battle field . We need to stand for something or we will fall for everything.

OUr struggles are in the heavenly realm and we are battling against pricipalities and powers in high places. We are not battling our siblings our spouse or children but the enemy who wants to gain territory in our lives.

As long as we are Christians we will have battles but our battles have already been won just like you said . Jesus paid it all at the cross. Satan wants to slow us down and have us move into his territory and that is why we must put on the full armour of God each day before we leave our house.like it states in ...........Ephesians 6 : 10 - 17.
We are not in a playground. We are in a battle ground. But satan ..... you have been defeated and you are under my feet . Hallelujah !!!!

10......Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

11.....Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.

12.....For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

13......Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

14....Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

16......In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

17.....Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Yes our pastor spoke on the whole armour of God this morning and I am really fired up .

The Word of God is what we use to push back satanic attacks. And yes satan does quote scripture but he lies and if we are not careful and do not know the word he will deceive us. We have to quote like Jesus ..... " It is written"

This Christian Army that we are in has a sword..... " The Word of God " Lets use it every chance we get to deliver a blow to our enemy.
