2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

The body of Christ is unlike any army that ever marched. The more we are pounded the stronger we get. When one of His dear ones is killed even then that is but a promotion to the Father's presence.
Like Israel (when we walk in faith) we step into the fray and the Lord does the fighting. Sadly many step presumptuously and are spiritually and emotionally mauled. Again like Israel we must learn to walk in step with the cloud by day and the pillar by night.

Amen and amen .... Staying strong and enduring till the end..... suffering for Jesus is the only way. Staying steadfast in the Word and the truth , Jesus Christ. We shall wear a crown some day. Hallelujah. !!!!!

I beleve that it is going to get worse in this old world but with Jesus Christ as the captain of our army we will never be defeated.

Amen! All the Old Testament was written for us to learn and grow from While it was true that :

1Sa 17:47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.

Yet this victory was manifest as the children of Israel stepped foot into the promises of God led by His Word and walking in faith.

How can anybody frighten a christian with heaven?

We live in a perpetual War Zone.

How many casualties occur because we think we live in a time of peace?
How many casualties refuse to recognise that they are casualties because of pride and loyalty to other men.
