Thankfully Jesus isn't getting tired of us! Let us consider one another in love as this is His will for us- selah.

My comments have nothing to do with Jesus getting tired of us. It has to do with wanting to be with God.

I don't believe people who contemplate suicide are wanting to die as much as they are wanting to be gone from here.

I want to live, but would gladly die to be with Jesus. I am tired. Tired of dealing with people who are too cowardly to do the right thing.

The church I just left had a woman who was stealing and lying and it became blatantly obvious. Yet, people couldn't love her enough to be honest with her.

We are supposed to speak the truth in love - keep caring about her, but stop enabling her.

Sometimes we have to let people fall on their face so God can pick them back up.

I'm ready and eager to go home. But I'll keep doing my best to serve God here until God is ready to take me.

AMEN same here!!! but we must resist !

you are to rebuke her, and not gently, because she has no part in that church, let her know what she has done is shameful, and if she repents, then take her back and talk to her privately and also as a group. and you should've also spoken to the pastor about his ways and everyone's ways, if no one comments and make their spirits stronger, who will?

I am against no one and I condemn no one. I was just thinking about the commands Christ gave us.

Leonidus, sounds like your having a little too much fun at church. If everyone is giving you the back, I would rethink what I'm doing. If you haven't done anything wrong, then why is everyone giving you the back? If nobody is on your side, I would worry.

Well now, that would seem to be the logical conclusion. "Everyone else can't be wrong and only you right"

But the reason I left my church was similar. I had done absolutely nothing wrong. My husband had an affair with a married woman from our church.

To make a long story short there are a handful of people at church who think I have been unjustly attacking her EVEN THO I NEVER SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT HER. Eventually I was being attacked. That is when I spoke up and said, "This woman is not only unrepentant, but she is continuing her sin and doing even more."

There were only three people at that time who knew the whole story. They knew because of the inappropriate things they saw her do and her heard say. But they chose to remain silent and let lies stand about me.

That said, Leonidus may be bringing this on himself and he should certainly consider that possibility.

However, a prophecy that doesn't come true is a false prophecy. These people may be suffering spiritual blindness.

Even if they're not. Then they are wrong not to confront Leonidus and try to correct him and help him learn more appropriate behavior.

When a gentle hand doesn't work, yes you need to take a harder stance. Speaking the truth in love doesn't mean sugar coating it.

I did speak up, but I was going thru a time when I was being falsely accused. I wish in that situation I had not tried to protect people's reputations.

I kinda feel like they thru me into the volcano for the "greater good"

The church is suffering some over this. There have been and will be no outside services this summer, no summer Sunday School, the September service is canceled, the worship band has lost 3 people so far, etc. I am waiting to see if the late service survives.

It could have been a lot worse, but we continued to provide technical support for the past several months to keep electronics and technology working. After almost six months, the calls for support are down to about once a week now as others are learning how to take care of things.

It didn't have to be this way, but when you neglect to do the right thing, there are consequences.

A church is a hospital for souls and you will meet all kinds of messed up, hurting, sick and otherwise wounded people. These will very often cause pain to those around them as "hurt people hurt people'.

God knows best and He is in control and possibly this is His way of cleaning up this church. And it will be stronger than it was before.
