I just wanted to add, I do not remain alone with other peoples wifes or girlfriends. I wasn't meaning to imply that I am okay with remaining alone with my wife and my girlfried-where are those smiley faces when you need them.

I just want to say that we will never ever find a perfect church and we are not there to justify others actions . We are in church to worship our Lord and focus on Him . If we take all that sister so and so or brother so and so says to heart .... we would never enter a church and would constantly give this as our excuse for not entering the doors of church .You see the devil would have us use all these excuses and then he laughs in our face.

I know many people who say they will never go back to church because they were hurt in the church. Sorry ,they are missing the blessings as satan wants to keep them away. Confess to the Lord all your hurts , forgive the person or what ever happened and then forgive yourself for getting caught up in a situation. The Lord will help you as you put it all at the foot of the cross.

We need to stop and smell the roses and look to Jesus instead of others . What He says to us is more important.

It is not about us ..... It is about Him.

I just want to stay away from that woman. I hope she doesnt stalk me around the church. Besides her husband is one of the three or more poeple who said that i'm going to be an evagelist at my baptizm.

Three people prophesied you would be an evangelist when you got baptized, correct?

If these people are true prophets then an evangelist is what you are.

If what you have said is accurate:
Go back to church and assume you misunderstood. If they are true prophets things will come out well.
If they shun you then they are false prophets and you need to find a new church.

Even satan masquerades as a angel of light. It is your responsibility to test the spirits. Do a lot of praying before you go back for God to be your protector and your guide.

If the Pastor does not complain to you do not worry about it. If this person is a problem forgive them, pray for them and give them plenty of room. We (as Dusty said) must keep our eyes on Jesus and not worry so much about the opinions of people.

Brother go back in there and talk to them, if you sense any falseness or anger from them, mention it and see their answer, if all else fails, get out of that church!! you just saw their true fruit !

You were right to wonder if the spirits were true. and if they really are true, she wouldn't have acted this way, but the fact that Maybe she told the rest of the church of your question and of your doubt, and everyone reacted in an immature and ungodly way, it shows what type of church that is!

But maybe next time you shouldn't ask to check for their validity. Just let it go and be happy for her unless you see her deceived then approach her in private.

But wow I'm really tired of people like that! If things really happened the way you say, then wow I really can't wait til this world ends!
