I debated for a bit. I'm "SlowIsSmoothIsFast". I stopped though. I tore him apart if you ask me, but he'll ignore the logic there. And they say we ignore logic...

I know not to argue too much, but I also think that it's important to shed some light in those comments, so that others reading aren't taking in JUST lies. Only if we're moved to though, because we can make fools of ourselves, and be counterproductive in bringing people to the truth.

They all express a particular humans point of view, making their arguments have flaws and faults when interpreted by another person, rather than staying purely as God's point of view, like is the Bible for instance - being closest to God's unhindered point of view when it's God-breathed, Holy Spirit-inspired. Then is STILL and even more so untrue in the eyes of the world, but it's the truth as it is, and anyone who recognizes God's voice will come to it. Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God - suggests that the pure of heart will see the truth more as truth.

When you look at someone's argument you can look at what they meant, and what they didn't mean. Much of each is within their writing. If you're against them, you'll likely see mostly what they didn't exactly mean, because your beliefs contrast theirs so much, that what your basing these words on is quite the opposite of what they're basing these same word on. So understanding them requires at least to some degree a bias in favor of them. Notice that to understand us as we understand ourselves, they'd need to be incredibly biased - so much so, they'd have to "test it out" by accepting Christ and letting God bring them to understanding... Such an extreme distance to go to sample someone else's perspective! Ultimately it's surrendering to Christ that's the only way for those lost in that senselessness.

He does make some videos that are encouraging and full of good information. But often I think he tries to go way beyond what he knows. When he does this he makes a fool out of himself, and his assertions are both nonsensical and rude to those who have studied the subject (whether they belief in the concepts or not). Most of his arguments regarding these issues are copied directly from Kent Hovind.

GIIVideo is just as rude and nonsensical and its much easier for us to see because his ideas conflict with ours. Sadly I am sure their are quite a few atheists that think this way. I sent the video to a few atheists I know to get their opinion on it, and most of them just said that it was just someone trying to be rude without having a point. Luckily most of the atheists I know at least have respect for religion. Though even one I talked to who doesn't have much respect for religion found the video to dishonest and using fallacies.

I hope that one day less people will give in to these baseless propaganda pieces and start being able to understand the basis of more world views just so they cannot be corrupted by false information. I do not mind well developed arguments against what I believe since these questions would have purpose and meaning to those people instead of being a blind attack. But I do feel some disappointment when I see such weak and baseless arguments filled with misunderstandings being pushed out and having so many accept them without even looking at the real basis of the other side.

GIIVideo actually could have pulled off a good argument in this video if, instead of attacking the concept all together, he aimed at showing that God's plan should not be used as an excuse that people should use when they don't know how to explain why something happened. But instead, he decided to go in a much rude direction that builds a horrible strawman. Heh, well this video is really disturbing to me now. I'm done with it.
