Default I Don't Understand Judgement Day

When we die, and we stand before God on Judgement Day, what is that going to be like? Is God going to tell us all the things we've done wrong? What's the point of this? Also, is he going to bring up things we've already asked forgiveness for? Because God says our sins are as far as the east is from the west.

Just trying to understand, here.

I don't wanna go through the motions. I don't wanna go one more day without Your all consuming passion inside of me. I don't wanna spend my whole life asking, 'What if I had given everything instead of going through the motions?'
I can take even your greatest mistake. Every scar, every tear, every break. And I can turn it into something more beautiful than you have ever seen. So lift them up to Me. All the broken pieces.

My Savior lives.
My Savior's always there for me.
My God He was.
My God He is.
My God He's always gonna be<3
Who am I that the Lord of all the Earth
Would care to know my name.
Would care to feel my hurt?
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done.
Not because of what I've done.
But because of who You are.

Two judgments- one for believers were their works are judged but their are saved as they are found in Christ. Another for the lost as they must face a righteous Judge in their own righteousness and are condemned.

From what I understand, the 'judgement' we face, is that of, 'did we obey God's will for our lives in the calling He placed on them'.
I think everything is going to be tested, as if by fire, and only what God called us to, will stand,
Then He will reward us or not, according to what we did with our talents.
Quite a call to obedience me thinks, good question though.

The saved will have their works as a Christian judged at the "Bema" Seat of Christ, and be rewarded (or not) accordingly. Those who have been born again have already had their sins judged and paid for on the cross, and they will not be brought up again.

The unsaved will stand at the White Throne Judgment where the Lamb will look in the Book of Life for their name. Then He will say to them, "I never knew you. Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity." Matt. 7:13
