Default A good week

Some aspects of this week have been fairly brutal but others more than make up for it!
My oldest son qualified for the Louisiana TOPS program which means most of his college tuition is paid for- yeah!
And my homeowners insurance is going to cover almost all of the cost of a new roof due to hail damage- yahoo! My roof was looking tired and I wasn't sure how much they would kick in but then I have favor with God and man.
Praise God for His faithfulness and goodness which He so joyfully lavishes on His children!

Such wonderful news!

I bet God sent that hail just so you could get a new roof.

Our one church elder was telling a story this past Sunday about how God weaves a tapestry that is our lives and we only see the dark threads that go into the tapestry but God is looking at the full picture.

Congrats to your son on the TOPS qualification. Getting a college education for free is awesome, its awesome even when you end up in tons of debt...kind of .

I've been waiting for a few chunks of hail to damgae my wore out roof, I sold myself the insurance, so why not.

We had a hailstorm over a year ago and my neightbors on both sides had their roofs replaced. The contractor's inspector said I had only minimal damage and needed no repairs. So we had no out of pocket cost, but I didn't get a new roof.

Wonderful . Isn't God good ? Wow !! He favours the ones He loves. I am so happy for you.

You had me thinking about when I had a flood in my basement and I was so upset and then the insurace paid for the renovation and the basement was better than it was before . Praise God , He always comes through at the right moment.
