Default Negative comments on certain breeds of animals or types of items

Has anyone ever run into people in a certain sport or hobby you do who have these negative comments on it? I'm not trying to start anything, just curious to see some of the things you here or read from people on certain breeds of your favorite animal(s), a sport, or hobbies, or even items.

Here's an example:
I have heard a lot of people complain and say negative things about the Arabian horse breed, calling them 'nutty' and 'horrible little horses', etc. I find this a little stereotypical for the following reasons. Arabian horses are not 'nutty' but are horses of personality, extremely intelligent, elegant, smooth-strided, and very graceful and beautiful creatures. I suppose these 'nutty' comments stem from the people who want a push-button horse who does everything you want, everything you need. Personally, I was attracted to the finer Arabian horses (examples: Arabian Horses, Stallions, Farms, horses for sale - Arabian Horse Network, www.arabhorse.com) because of their fine and delicate beauty, their intelligent expressions, those big soft eyes, and that they weren't these half-dead riding animals who seem to have all the life whipped out of them. There are many breeds of horses, dogs, birds, cats that I don't like. I am not a big Quarter Horse fan - while I think some QH's are extremely beautiful animals I don't like their strides - they are to bouncy and its hard for me to do English style riding on them. I have ridden on a few Arabians - while I agree that can be a little high-strung, I think it is because they are independent horses and I have gotten along well with them. They are strong-willed, and confident, and proud, which can make an intimidating mount for certain riders who are used to riding on push-button school horses who you kick in the ribs and walk, trot, canter, gallop on command. Arabians are extremely intelligent; many happy advocates of this breed say they are 'human-like' because of their intelligence. While all breeds, regardless of their breed characteristics, are sometimes deemed more intelligent than others (I have met quite a few non-Arabian horse breeds of horses who are very, very intelligent), the Arabian seems to hold the intelligence favor. They are said to be easy-to-train, and are smooth-strided (though some horses are bouncy! ), and with everyone, the most attractive...

Anyone else run into this, too?
