I am so saddened because we are so outnumbered. Why is that? God is God, so why are only a very small percentage of people saved? It seems like the vast majority of people are so decieved for so many reasons. Some people follow the wrong religion, some people think all it takes to go to heaven is 'being a good person', some people have been so hurt that they push God away, some people put their whole heart into the evolution theory, and some people just remain apathetic about the whole situation.

I understand the God is using people to tell them about Him, but it still feels so wrong that so many people are so decieved. If I were to go into a neutral forum site and tell people about Jesus, I'd be the object of ridicule from 99% of people.

God is the creator of the universe and has the power and final say.

So why are people the way they are? Why are we so outnumbered?

Many will be saved and yet most choose their own lordship over God. They are all to interested in wanting to do things they way they want and meeting God face to face would cause them to change.
Even in Israel the outer court where people went to seek God was very small compared to the size of the population as most simply do not want to seek Him. That is a sad commentary on fallen man- they run away from true freedom and joy in order to protect the corruption they have in their lives.

I think it depends on how your parents raised you and their thoughts on religion. I was open to anything, as were my parents, their parents and probably their parents. No one except the Mormons gave me any hope of finding peace in my life.

You can go all through high school and college without anyone sharing the gospel (well, the right gospel) with you. That's why I love to share my testimony about the lost feelings you grow up with and then how God Himself finally leads you in the right way. If no one else will, God will finally get through to you. Yahoo!

God doesn,t want us to be robots or have no humour or have querkyness.he is just like any dad saying to his son don,t take drugs for example.he is guiding us.

Sometimes, I think many people are or will be saved, while not at the moment or they are what we would consider the people to be least likely saved.

Are you serious?
Have you not heard that in Latin America and Africa and China the church is multiplying daily.
It is only the westernised countries where man feels he doesnt need God that it is less, our whole situations can change over night, then revival will come, when we can no longer rely on our money our jobs etc.
But dont believe the devils lies that no-one believes, look at some statistics for the growth of the church (dont mean traditional) in some of these 'poorer' counties.

I agree Jax. I've done a fair bit of short-term missions work over the years, and the spiritual hunger in most developing nations would put us here in Australia to shame.
