Default Wisdom Teeth

WHat is the deal with wisdom teeth?
Most just cause problems and need to be removed.
Why do we get them if most people need to get them removed ?
I have one coming up which could be a problem

At one time we used certain parts of our body, like wisdom teeth, that now seemingly have no purpose or function. Changes in diet (and other factors) are one reason we no longer need wisdom teeth.

I have had two wisdom teeth removed and one never came through, funnily enough I was thinking the same, how ever maybe they are just one of those things we dont think about unless they cause trouble so we associate their very mention with pain !

When I was younger I found out about an research study being conducted on a pain medication and they were seeking out participants who needed their wisdom teeth removed. I signed up. They took out two of my wisdom teeth and paid me several hundred dollars to do it. The only thing I had to do was swallow their experimental pain medication and tell them if it worked for me. Plus, I got to sit in a nice room with free food and movies where we had to be monitored for 24 hours.

I wish there was a study going on nowadays, because I still need my other two removed. I'd love to have them pay me to take them out rather than me paying someone.

With the lack of wisdom in this world, maybe that's why wisdom teeth have become useless.

LOL:P

My dad tells me that by removing wisdom teeth it has helped me breathe better from his nose. It also helps if you see that your teeth are becoming squished, my friend has them and he didn't remove yet, but his teeth are really becoming horrible! all over one another, and they were straight before those wisdom teeth!!

It's best to remove them, they might cause pain.
Mine are not out yet (I'm 20). I can't wait to remove them hehe, but our face will be big LOL for a few days.

God bless!

Fortunately for us wisdom does not come from teeth!
I could be mistaken but I think the name was given them because you are older and wiser when they appear.

In Stephen King's book, Thinner, there was a 98(?) year old woman who was getting her third set of teeth.

Maybe the teeth themselves are wise, hee hee. They see what we eat todeay, and sometimes they say...nuh-uh! I'm not going out there! That's what mine did, they stayed under the gum. Huuuuuurt!
