Yes.
I admit my wrongs. I admit my wrongs because I know God knows them anyways. No matter how hard I try hard to hide my sins, I cannot because God knows them anyway. There is no way you can justify for your sins. I learned that. Many people go on sinning. I used to do it. But God forgave me for it. He knows we are vulnerable - even though my faith may be strong I am a sinner and I am vulnerable to sin. I was born that way and without God I might as well go and stick my leg in a pool of hungry sharks. Today, I almost gave into my flesh. Before, I would have done it. But, I said, "You know what? I'm not going to take advantage of God's merciful nature anymore." My flesh told me that I should do it, take a peek, then if you aren't satisfied go and ask forgiveness to God. But I told myself - "No. I can't take advantage of Him like that. He doesn't do that to me. Neither should I." You know it stopped? I give all thanks to God. I didn't give into my sinful nature, I chose to stick with God. ![]() NTG

I'm so thankful that other Christians get this about repentance. It's not a dirty word, it brings us closer to the Lord. Because he said in Isaiah 59:2 (Our sin separates us from him) And I'm so thankful to the Holy Spirit that he convicts me of my sin and lets me know I've sinned. This way I can repent right away and receive the forgiveness I need. And yes, it is humbling to have to admit that I've failed the Lord once again. But, I am thankful that the Lord is so merciful and gives us so much help to be able to make it to the end. I want to say, this forum is truly a breath of fresh air for me. I wish the local Church body could interact the way yall do on here!

We love you too BFC!
There can be no revival when Mr. Amen and Mr. Wet-Eyes are not found in the audience. Charles Finney When a man’s mouth is thus opened, God’s ears are never closed. When the penitent is talking the Savior is listening. W. Graham Scroggie Godly sorrow causeth grief for sin, because it is sin. It makes any man in whom it is to be of this disposition and mind, that if there were no conscience to accuse, no devil to terrify, no Judge to arraign and condemn, no hell to torment, yet he would be humbled and brought on his knees for his sins, because he hath offended a loving, merciful, and longsuffering God. William Perkins Other things may be the worse for breaking, yet a heart is never at the best till it be broken. Sir Richard Baker Moreover, true repentance never exists except in conjunction with faith, while on the other hand, wherever there is true faith, there is also real repentance. The two are but different aspects of the same turning-a turning away from sin in the direction of God. The two cannot be separated; they are simply complementary parts of the same process. Louis Berkhoff Repentance and faith are not rites of initiation to Christianity. Repentance and faith are the way to relate to God. Repentance and faith are not acts performed one time to become a Christian. They are attitudes of heart toward myself and my sin. Faith is not just the way to get saved, it is the lifeline of Christian living. Tedd Tripp

First BfC..... Welcome to the forum. ![]() ![]() ![]() Isn't it great that we can know that our sins are forgiven and you have the right idea to confess as soon as you know and that way you do not harbour bitterness and anger . And yes we all fail from time to time but we have a loving forgiving God who picks us up and plants us on solid rock .... The rock Christ Jesus. God Bless
