In a town in Cornwall, they are starting a curfew scheme to get young people off the streets during the summer holidays.
Under 16 have to be in home before 9pm and under 10s have to be in before 8pm. If successful it would be adopted by other towns... Another plan of the enemy to take away peoples freedom....another step towards Britain coming under millitary law.

Just my opinion-
In truth a curfew for the younger ones is wisdom. In New Orleans such a program cut violent crime by 20 plus % and there is no real reason for a minor to be out running the streets that late.

The problem is kids these days dont have the upbringing they need.
If you spank your child, you will get into trouble because they say its child abuse. Then the police winge when young people go out and do stupid things.

As a parent who is involved with my kids I can tell you that they will not be running the streets at night. Once they are of age then I must trust God for them and rely on the fact that they were brought up knowing right from wrong. Sadly many young people today simply do not know how to live a normal life style. They believe that is normal to be in trouble with the police on a regular basis, they have no concept of respect, they seem to think the answer to most conflicts is fighting- the list could go on. I am sorry to say they have had very little foundational truth and many not much parental supervision. Combine the with the corruption the liberals pump into them at school-( it's not about learning it's about self esteem, God has no place in school, etc) and you have a confused generation on your hands.

This is very good! It's not the enemy taking freedom away.
The enemy wants kids out at night while God wants us inside at night! Darkness is not Good! but Jesus is our Light in the darkness.

I agree. Children (these are children that we're speaking about) shouldn't be out that late anyway.
When someone who is in their developmental years has too much freedom, they can begin making the wrong choices. In a society where both parents must work to make ends meet, today's children have to be more responsible in making their decisions. The devil is on full-blast at night. I've seen some of the things that go on during the dark hours...so have you, I'm sure. Once a person is capable of making rational decisions, once he's proven that he's able to handle adult situations responsibly...then they should give him a green ticket to stay out as late as he wants. Some of the worst decisions I've made in my own life were made past ten o' clock at night. Children today need this guidance. They need rules, as they've already shown, as a group of people, that they're incapable of handling things on their own. Just my opinion...but some children in our society today already have too much freedom as it is. ![]() We all have laws and rules to abide by. These aren't meant to take away our freedom. Freedom is a gift bestowed upon us from our Father in Heaven. Laws and rules only force those who misuse their freedom to act in a manner that makes it harder for them to hurt each other...or themselves. ![]()

I agree with a curfew for teens and children. They don't need to be out roaming the streets late at night, unsupervised. They're not responsible enough to stay out of trouble. If someone suggests doing something illegal, the others will go along with it so that they won't be rejected and called names.

My mom told me once - the door locks at 9:30. And she meant it. One time I came home late, around midnight. The door was locked. I wound up sleeping on the pickup. And I never did it again. Hee hee.
But I doubt if that would work in this day and age. ![]()
