Talking eccentricities

I am sure that everyone has one, or a couple of things that they do that other people find peculiar. So if you want to share go right ahead.

Within the last year I have been getting more agile as the weeks go by. Well anyways for some reason when I am walking, when I see certain things, I look at it to see what I could do with it. What I mean is if I see a bench for a bus, and a blue mail box a little bit ahead of it. I have the urge of wanting to run, and step up onto the bench, and then the mail box, and finally over it. I also like to run and jump and walk across some of the small fences in front yards while I am walking somehere. I even like to jump onto a fire hydrant with one foot and then jump forward from there. XD

I think it may be due in part to all the martial arts films that I watch Yeah I am a fan.

So there is one thing that I do that people who hang out with me notice XD

You don't have to post anything really big. You can post little behaviors that you do.

Examples:

tapping a pencil on the side of a chair, or on the table when doing homework or bills.

When buying milk grabbing the second Galen of milk, behind the first one.

I got the idea for this topic from a forum that I read a while back.

I'd post, but it would all be too scary.

Yeah, I've seen threads like this on other forums also. Have you ever noticed that the things people often post that they think are odd usually turn out to be quite common?

"Step on a crack, break your mother's back."

That one has always stuck in my head, even today. Today, I can't even step on a line in the linoleum on my way to the bathroom at work. People have noticed this and they laugh when they see me doing it.

Of course, I know nothing is going to happen to mom's back if I step on that crack. But it's like conditioning and response...Pavlov's dogs. On a sidewalk, I can't on the line where two blocks of sidewalk meet. I have to time my steps to step over it.

Funny. I don't have OCD, beleive me. I know that I can step on these cracks and lines. It's just something odd that I sometimes do.
