I had short a dream the other night, here's how it went.
I was laying on my back looking into the sky. (At the moon) I'm laying in my back lane, parallel with the lane. I look at the moon thinking about God and wanting to see Him somehow. Like have a vision or something. Suddenly I decide it's probably not a good idea to be laying there. I don't wanna get run over. So I get up. And down the lane behind me, about 150 yards, I see a dog. Beethoven type of dog - just trotting towards me. Doesn't look like a dangerous dog, but something made me decide to run from it anyways. I ran into my house and shut the back door. Looking through the window of the door I see the dog trotting up the sidewalk towards the door, still innocent looking. But as soon as it gets there it turns into this devil dog, vicious as can be, it's growling frantically and bashing it's head up against the window, in a way that should kill it, trying to get in. For some reason, this dream lacked the usual terrifying factor that dreams like it usually would have. I felt that it was because of my knowledge of the Lord, that I kinda shrugged the terror off and thought, wow, what a crazy dog. I run to my room to make sure that window is shut, and the dog meets me there. I just the window just in time, and he smacks his snout up against it still trying to get in. I decided to run to the basement and get my 10/22 and kill the thing. That's when my dream ends. So, any dream interpretors wanna discuss it? I thought maybe it was about me concentrating too much on wanting to see God in my expected ways, that I am in foolish positions spiritually, and letting the devil come up behind me. Maybe I'm supposed to "stand up" and be more aware spiritually. And when I see that dog coming up from behind me, find strength in the Lord not to run from it, but to fight it. And not to lead it to my home. It's funny, because I did spend one night all drunken in the spirit, looking to the sky, and sitting there in the back lane hoping for visions or something from God.

A personal experience I will share with you
Its a process of conscious vs. sub conscious, as Christians we go threw a process of denying ourselves of our wants, desires, and temptations, as well as our old habits and fears being in many forms and shapes,. When repenting against our old self it becomes a war, between the new and the old self this is when we need to ware the full armour of god . Our old selves always tries to find a way to gain full control again for it can‘t find rest. Since our old selves knows our innermost weaknesses and entices our sensuality by our emotions and amalgamates with other evil spirits in the attempt to intensify one's emotions ten fold. We need to keep up the good fight. Paul had three thorns , he asked the our lord to take them away from him, but the lord said my mercy is enough.. To get to the point! our most vulnerable time is when we are not in our conscious mind when asleep, some of the dreams I have experienced are indescribable to mention. A lot of praying and soaking myself in the word of God until I became conscious of my Sub conscious while asleep. I had the full armour of our God on demons were everywhere coming at me from all directions enticed in my old habits and desires. I knew once my desires were conceive I would give birth to sin and when sin is matured its produces death, It has now become real as being in reality very distinctive. I knew God gave me awareness as my new self has now taken over the old self. The demons approached me enticing me with my weaknesses and one at a time was expelled in Jesus name, and they shook trembled distorted screamed and disappeared. This experience led self control of my house, thanks to the gift of holy spirit. But what an experience, once you clean your house keep it clean by the full armour of God Last edited by univac; 07-02-2008 at 11:06 AM. |

That sounds scarier than simply dreaming. I think I have a problem with fear. You know, I've never hurt myself too bad in my life. Like I've never broken a bone or anything serious. I think I'm much too afraid of pain and terror, maybe because I've never felt the extremes of physical pain, and I fear how much more real and intense terror can be.

If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Our Father test us to our capability when we are ready, for he reproves those he loves. God bless God bless |

When I feel evil things, it's always something behind me. Maybe Satan's making me think that sin from behind me - my past - is still binding me.
And it's even got me scared and wanting to stay in my house. I never feel like doing anything anymore other than listening to messages, reading the bible, worshiping...etc. This is making too much sense! The question is - Is this sin really binding me, or is this a lie from Satan? But look back at my dream - I plan to take care of this sin by my own means (Shooting it), but I wake up (Die / Jesus returns) before I can, because I just can't. In my dream it seamed like I couldn't get to the basement to get the gun. That always happens in my dreams.Or you could say I woke up to reality, where the dog (sin) was no longer a problem. The truth is it's taken care of. OR you could say when I woke up it actually was MORE of a problem. Even more real of a problem, keeping me from living. The afterlife parallel of that would then be... I'm SO confused. And scared.

but,
The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:13-14 I'm not the man. That man does not live anymore! ![]() ![]()

If you have confessed your sins to him he is faithful and just ,doesn’t matter how bad they are he will be forgiven thee and lead you to righteousness.
You must come to conscience and trust in him in your dreams, I know it is hard but through pray you will and walk straight to evil and face it in the eye rebuke it in Jesus name and watch what happens it will never come back again. You must awaken your conscious while asleep by awareness of the Lord presence at all time I will pray for your strength in this matter you will endure, God bless |
