Smile Everyone been out a lot lately?

So, how has everyone been enjoying their summers?
Me and my mom may go to the racetrack tomorrow; not that I am sure. Hollywood Park is closed and Santa Anita...I'm not 100% sure.

I don't live close to Belmont, Saratoga, or any of those racetracks so I really have been missing out on some good Grade I and Stakes races.

That's OK. I alway have the Kentucky Derby next year. I know Big Brown is going to run in the Travers Stakes; I'll be rooting for him!

Me and my grandmother are planning a July 4th BBQ so we've been stalking the FoodNetwork Channel, tee hee. It's been AGES since I've had ribs...yum.

I hope you all enjoy your summers!
Let us know what you are up to!?

I am currently, and have been, sitting in my chair in my room roughly 1.67 feet away from my bed using several computers at once and playing videos games.
but also have been re-organising my room, puting up new posters, bed frame. and been having fun being out at night practasing Quarterstaff moves. (not that I actually KNOW any...but it''s fun to pretend! )

And a whoal bunch of family is here for the week for the Day of Independance.

As for me - I am enjoying winter by not going out too much - but when you are cold I will be roasting!

The joys of living in Australia!

Nigel, have you met Bondman yet? He has a thread here called The Inner Room I think. He is also from Australia. I forgot you were in winter now also. My husband and I are considering visiting there either in 2009, or 10. Is Sept. a good month for snorkling?

Well don't brag too much when we are in the deep freeze Ha ha ....That is a sore spot with me. It seems the older I get the worse I hate cold cold winters.

Anyways we are not having a good summer yet but there is still July and August so hopefully it will pick up. So much rain.

But I still love to get out and today seems nice .... the sun is shining so am going downtown to celebrate Canada Day.
