What does it mean by God loves you?

Is it because of His abundant grace,coupled with unending mercy,which translates to endless compassion?That is then mistaken as love?

What IS love? ):

Is there such a thing as taking a break in our walk with Him?
Sort of like 'oh I'm a lil tired,may I rest on the nearby bench please?'

He gives you rest, it doesn't involve stopping in your walk.

God IS love. It's poring out of His being. He speaks and it's love, He breathes and it's love. All the love you experience in this world IS from Him. All you've seen is tiny samples of love from Him, most of it's been at least slightly corrupted by going through humans.

When you really really get close to the Lord and get filled with the Holy Spirit, here you have access to His supernatural love and a peace that you can't experience any way else.

Mark you said it best. God is love- it is His very nature and everything He does for His children is an expression of what He is- Love. Indeed this is the very reason for creation as love is not content unless it is in relationship giving and receiving this wonderful affection. God is love and you are the object of loves greatest desire.

What great love that He laid down His life for us . What great love that God sent His only begotten Son.that we might have life and have it more abundantly. That we can live eternally.

God gave us the best He had. No greater love is there than this.
