I've never heard of such a thing as that. Personally, I wouldn't return to that church. Being in a bad area, it's more than likely a matter of safety.

If it's so bad of an area that they have to lock the doors during the service...hmmm. Then they should have the opposite kinds of doors. Ones that scoop people in off of the street.

If I was you, this would be a lesson. Neither good nor bad, but one to myself. I'd set a brand new standard, and by no means would any tardiness (to myself) be acceptable for church.

If it was in error, then maybe you should volunteer at your church to sit by the door (where you can hear the sermon) to make sure that anybody who wants to enter into God's home is able to do so freely.

Maybe it was your calling? Hee hee.

Pastor's wife was at the control doing the powerpoint slides i knocked on teh door so hoping that she could hear but she couldnt.

I thought to flash my mobile phone light but i didnt becuase it looks rediculouse. Why GOD didnt want me to enter that church? Is it GOD or is it Satan who locked me out?

Couple of little kids who were runing at the back row of the church saw me but they didnt tell the others may be they thought i was a some looney from the street. That becuase the church is located in one of horrible streets.

I left the text message on pastor's phone saying that i was there but his door didnt open.
I was very dissapointed. NExt week i got work all day therefore i wouldnt be able to attend the morning or the evening sessions.

Why this happened to me, is it becuase i didnt go to church or i was being bad?
You worry too much. I think they need to fix the doors. As long as your going to the right church then why would God keep you from getting in?

I agree that it 'just happened' rather than had some deep spiritual significance. However, I would certainly advise the leadership and challenge them with finding a solution to avoid it happening again.

Imagine if a new family to the area came, late as they didn't know the time, and received the 'automatic' door that was everything but automatic.

Maybe a bell that triggers a light? Or a person to sit near the door? Or whatever it would take [difficult to suggest without knowing the building lay out].

I understand your agony..it happens to anyone at sometime.

You are precious in the sight of God ..He teaches us the power of patience.

love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
