Default How was church today?

Did you get blessed? Did you bless anyone else? How was the wordhip? Did the Word speak to your heart?

Really, really good,
for the first time in ages I felt part of a family, part of a move of God.
I think there must have been a breakthrough in prayer that has broken some of the oppression that seems to have been against us as a body for a while.
The message was about being fishers of men, and it was a real encouragement.
I like to see people won to Christ but find it hard to share my faith especially with those I have to see on a regular basis such as people at my kids school etc, but today helped equip me for reaching them, meeting them at the level that they are receptive at and speaking a word in season etc, was very encouraged!

Question one Did I get blessed ? Yes, I get blessed by all the worship songs of praise. It is awesome. Hmm ...blessing some one else. If big hugs are blessings , I guess I did

The word.... We are focusing on " Reach One" this month so the lesson was about Saul.... later Paul. How God saved him and how Ananias was instumental in his conversion. How difficult it must have been for Ananias as he wrestled with the vision the Lord had given him , knowing what a terrible person Saul was. When the Lord told Ananias to go even though he was reluctant . He went as God told him He had important work for Saul to do.and that He had chosen Saul. ananias laid his hands on Saul and said" Brother Saul the Lord sent me.He sent me so that you could see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit .".... Immediately something like fish scales fell off Saul's eyes and he was able to see again.

So if one man named Ananias had not been obedient , how Many people would have been lost. ? It only takes one to tell one and we never know how many will come into the kingdom because of that one.

Acts 9 : 1- 19.

We also had baby blessing and had 10 babies dedicated and I don't know how many in the other two services. I love to see all the babies as the staff and pastors take them in their arms and prance around showing them off to the congregation.

The Lord changed the pastor's message this morning. He had a message prepared when God changed it. The interesting part is that one of the songs I picked for the congregation (Did I mention I'm the song leader?) went perfectly with his message. The song was "Trust and Obey", and that's what his message was about. I'm curious as to whether God had me pick that song to go with the new message, or if He changed the message to go with the song. I'm sure it was the former. The pastor has mentioned more than once about how the songs go with his message, but then the Holy Spirit knows beforehand what songs will be needed to fit the message. I believe the music prepares people to hear the message.

It is a blessing to be in the House of the Lord with His saints anyday but we worship together on Sundays and had a marketplace ministry conference finishing up this morning...how awesome..Did you know that all Jesus' disciples were businessmen and that Jesus and the disciples did most of their ministry OUTSIDE the church walls? Awesome message and encouragement to "be Jesus with skin on" to the Saints (that "ain't" right yet but will be) that have not yet found their destiny in Jesus...even the drug dealers; businessmen can be used of God after conversion to bring other drug dealers to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus...They are not "just sinners" but those who have not yet found their inheritance in Jesus. They are POOR indeed!!!

A lot of bible study; exhortation in the Word of God and prophetic scriptures of what the church really IS and needs to be in these times. We worshipped the Lord with Rich Mullin's Awesome God...just awesome. God is so good and merciful to those who will place their trust in Him.
