In trying to understand my walk with Christ, the basis of my faith, my philosiphy(if you will) I found it in the chorus of a song made popular by country singing artist Trace Adkins.
Every light in the house is on, The back yard's bright as the crack of dawn, The front walk looks like runway lights, It's kinda like noon in the dead of night, Every light in the house is on, This is the philosiphy I strive to live my life in Christ by. I want every light on, all the doors wide open, the widow shades up, the curtians pulled back and no fence around the yard. Good, bad or indifferant, I want all that God and this world has for me in this life. I want the peddle to the metal, the valve wide open, no holds bared. I don't want to miss a thing, nothing held back. Give me all this world has for or against me. I don't want a stone left unturned, a corner left in the dark, no error unrecognized, no sin unrepentant. I want my faith tested, my doctrine proven and to leave as much of Christ as I can here for those who follow when I go. I want my failures as visible as my sucesses and the least and best that is said of me is that I believed in and followed Christ. Cliff Cliff
