Indeed!
Never heard about this movie, Or maybe I have.. Hard to tell, They change names fast sometimes...

But yes, Hollywood seems to have lost nearly all originality. And resort to Murder Films, Remakes, 'Stupid' Comedys, and Just plain weird and morally confuddling things like mentioned above.

But as we all know in every pitch black rainy cloud of doom, thers something still good just at the edge. With really awesome movies and great storytelling. Toobad the bad movies get all the publicity.

Ugh, I know. Hollywood is UN-original. The actresses and actors now are absolutely sickening - they CAN'T EVEN HALF ACT! Well, except a couple of people, like Johnny Depp (sp?), and some other woman who played along with him in Pirates.

And I mean - what the heck with these horrible reality television shows of people? I don't want to see the Lohans - they look like walking makeup stands with all that stuff on! And don't forget those obvious hair extensions.

Reminds me of that comedian (forget his name) saying that oriental influence on film is completely thrown out the door...look at Qui Gon, he said. Oh, puh-leeeze! Now if Qui Gon isn't an oriental name, what is? And Queen Amidala is dressed like some Mongolian Princess!

...and how come in the movies, when they want to make someone really, really bad, they give him a Brit accent? Like in Die Hard.

Or if someone is from a different planet, they still speak English? And they still have a head between two shoulders. And two arms and two legs. Couldn't the race on a fictional planet be like an ameoba? Or something?

And how come Captain Kirk always had to have relations with alien females? Green or otherwise? Like on Galaxy Quest..."I see you managed to get your shirt off!"

And how come in Porky's the town council was against adult movies and became red in the face and screamed about them in public...but they all gathered at night to watch the very same movies in the basement!

Just a few thoughts.

Actually I remember hearing that in the Original Star Trek there was a planet of Hats.
...That's not humanish at all.

OK I agree that not much original stuff comes out of Hollywood, and that there are many people with problems, but is it all that bad?
There is good stuff that comes from there. I think.

I don't have anything to complain about. We just took our cable out 5 years ago, so now can just watch videos that we choose to watch. No worries, no commercials (the only thing I miss cause they're better than the shows.) Now we have better things to do. Like read.

Sweet - you're not missing much. At home, if I'm going to be watching TV I have to be doing something "good" like dishes or on the treadmill, etc.

Some commercials aren't even funny...but they try to be. And they show these commercials over and over and over and over and over and over and over!

I like those Free Credit Report Dot Com commercials, though - they're funny and I get into those little songs.

I can't watch movies on TV, though...because you just start getting into them and BAM! Commercials. You get to doing other things, the show comes back on and you just start getting into it again and BAM!

That's like eating at a really fancy restaurant when you're ravanous with hunger! They bring you a bread stick as big as your pinky finger with the most delicious garlicky butter sauce (one teaspoon). It's heaven going down, and then they bring you like five leaves of baby spinach salad with the most wonderful dressing...I'm like: Can I have some more of that? But while I'm asking they're taking away my plate and bringing me the next course...a tablespoon of rice pilaf and a square of grilled salmon the size of my thumbnail, covered in an unknown sauce that tastes like liquid perfection! Itty bitty teasers.

Give me a big ole buffet anytime! Hee hee
