The last few days I've felt a joy inside my chest that I didn't think was possible. It has been growing over the last 2 mos. I told my wife yesterday that if Heaven's joy is beyond this, I cant' even imagine what it will be like.

Joy has no bounds when you walk in God's Word. I think I've read that somewhere (if it's in the bible I can't think of where).

Over my life I've always tried to find happiness in achievements; hockey and wrestling, hunting, fishing, crazy-demanding camping trips, college awards and grades, mostly trying to get other people to praise my achievements to find self worth. That desire or curse is gone now. No more distortions in my mind trying to find acceptance from others, who will ultimately find fault in who you are (it's human nature). For the first time I found true victory in my heart. I'm victorious in the Lord. It's true victory and I don't have to prove it to anybody, just follow what is right in the eyes of the lord. And I feel it, I'm free!

This joy is right in front of us but it takes a true commitment. That commitment for me, felt like a step of a cliff, a no turning back point, time to join God's team, time to turn my back on my sin filled life.

Believe and live God's Word, make a pure, heart pounding, soul shaking decision to truly live with God in the forefront of your earth bound life. This step is not easy, make it wisely, pray for it, and let God show you the time.

Whirlwind

Brace yourself, Tyler...as big as it is now, it just keeps on growing every day!

God is going to reward you in so many ways - all of them so much more important than money or fame or riches or popularity, things that are only temporarily rewarding.

I was driving home from work the other day, and a song came over my stereo - You are the Everlasting God, it said, You will not faint, You won't grow weary. You're the Defender of the weak, You comfort those in need. You lift us up on wings like eagles!

This message hit me. My heart melted. He is God Almighty. And He made me, little old me! I broke down crying and my friend reached over and wiped my tears away and told me "Don't cry!" I told him no, they were happy tears. My heart was just busting with happiness! I couldn't contain it!

When I was finished, it felt like my soul was washed out with rainwater. I was clean. I was touched by the Holy Spirit, and there's no amount of money or political power or fame in the world that can purchase that amazing gift!

He is good to us.
