Something very interesting from a book I am reading. In Genisis Chapt. 5 with all the genealogy from Adam to Noah. You know the one ya skim over. Well God rewards those who study. Watch this.
The names and their meanings go like this. Adam = Man,Seth = Appointed, Enosh = Mortal, Kenan = Sorrow, Mahalalel = the Blessed God, Jared = Shall come down, Enoch = Teaching, Methuselah = His death shall bring, Lamech = the despairing, and Noah = rest or comfort. Now put it together and you get.... Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow, (but) the Blessed God shall come down teaching (that) His death shall bring (the) despairing rest. Cool eh? The gospel in Genisis. ( Taken from Cosmic Codes by Chuck Missler. chapter 5 ) God is Great. |

Atone: The book is called Cosmic Codes, Hidden messages from the edge of eternity.
It gets pretty deep into the types of cryptography that have been used since the beginning of time in order to avoid the enemy getting the information you are sending to you ally. It touches a bit on the equa distant letter codes but has a very realistic view of these. Very interesting. It then discusses microcodes and macro codes. Parallels like.. The flood and Noah compared to the tribulation and rapture. Three types of people are involved. First the people who don't survive ( the people who die in the flood and the people who are killed in the tribulation ) Second the people who survive ( Noah and his family and the people who survive the tribulation to populate the earth for the millenium) and Third the people removed with out death ( Enoch represents the Church who are raptured and do not suffer the tribulation as Enoch did not suffer the flood ) He studies the numbers like the significance of the number 7, 70, 6 etc. Some of the book is over my head for sure. Some I would just need more time, patientce and quiet not afforded to me in my life right now. However, I can easily benefit from the topics, theories and truth this book presents as proof that the Bible is infact writen by God, for his people. That it is in fact alive and living, not effected by time, can be taken as it is written and, for those who study it to the depth that this very qualified gentleman does, they will be rewarded with knowledge, understanding, reassurance and stonger faith and closer relationship with our GOD. I have not finished it yet but I can't put it down. |

I love to do name studies as I read. Elijah ( of Jehovah) called Elisha God of Supplication) to follow him, Elisha slew his cattle and burned his harness as an offering to God and as proof he would not turn back. Elisha followed Elijah first to Gilgal or the rolling away of reproach (salvation) He could stay there or go to Bethel the house of God (fellowship and communion) He was asked to hang out with the prophets but he choose to follow after the promise he received. They next went to Jericho or fragrant (the fragrance of a prayer man laying down his lie for God?). We see Elisha as a man pressing past all obstacles to receive the double portion anointing.

That sounds very interesting; I will have to look at that. This goes right into what I'm studing. I also study alot on the Dead Sea Scrolls. I have a book that breaks down each verse in detail. One day when I have more time (at work now), I will have to share what the Dead Sea Scrolls entail with Bible Prophecy and Bible codes, It's awesome!

Hey Atonement,
I couldn't send you a private message so I'll ask my question here. I really need your help concerning dead sea scrolls. I started studying it a bit using a video of someone from 1994 who revealed many things and read the scrolls and it's really scary in a way.. It is hard to believe but.. it makes sense in the end and I believe it could help many scientists get closer to the Lord. If you have any information, could you share it with me, either here or in a private message? This is really weird because many verses differ from the original OT (Hebrew Aramaic) and NT (greek) manuscripts. What could be the truth?? Unless the truth is already in the ones found in the Bible but it was ommitted and changed ? I hope that makes sense. What I mean by truth is, the real verses, or the real meaning because this GREATLY changes things. The message is to have faith and keep the commandments (Obey God). and that is also the message in Dead Sea Scrolls but there are things that are just amazing and really strange! Thank you bro!
