In other words, we only have this one life to live so we shouldn't waste it. We live once, and how we live will determine where we spend eternity. In studentspeak (I'm fluent)-- this is the final exam; no retakes.

You are either for God, or against God. you cannot be lukewarm. even if you do not willingly choose to serve the devil. by not serving God the devil is using you.
SO.. i say stand up! and do all things for Christ our Lord! Leave nothing to chance. and give the devil no opportunity to use you for his purposes.! |

We know that for those of us that have accepted Christ as our Savior, that we are under His protection.
We shouldnt be suprised about the things that occur in the world, they are after all, under the sway of the enemy. They live for themselves. We dont have to fear, we need to stay close to Jesus, listening and obeying the Holy Spirit. Ask Him for that peace that passes understanding if there are areas of concern or fear in your life.

Let's keep this real folks.. Jesus said that we are to take up our cross each day and follow Him..
Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. We must deny ourselves each day. This means our flesh and our desires. Everything can become a habit, watching tv, how we eat, how we think, how we act, everything under Heaven can become a habit. Men are sinful, because we live in a sinful state. Evil does not just control the unsaved person, it can also control the Christian man/woman if they do not deny themselves each day and take up their cross. Knowing this very fact teaches us as Christians, to put on the armour of God. Eph 6:11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6:13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; Eph 6:15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Eph 6:16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Eph 6:17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Eph 6:18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; |

Beautiful "atonement", beautiful.
Let us not think the "Law"- (following God's Word) to the letter, will save us or condemn us. I Cor. 3:13-15, shows us, that God's children will recieve rewards for the good they have done, but lose rewards as well, for works that burn. But, v 15 shows, even if all a child's works burn, "but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire". Old KJV. So, Salvation has nothing to do with works and we need to keep focused on the "Grace of God" that saves. For people cannot go thru 80 plus years of an average lifetime, without making some mistakes all the way thru. God declares thru the Apostles, even after becoming saved, we still battle our "carnal nature)- (old nature). And Paul himself declares how he worked, to keep his body under subjection. So, even the greatest of the apostles was susceptable to falling to sin if is not constantly on guard. And look at how Paul and Barnabus parted ways in Ministry, being unable to fully agree on all things, causing enough division, they had to seperate. (Acts). From the greatest to the least of God's Children in relationship with God, we all still mess up regardless. God Bless!!
