Yes "religious Communities" are necessary.
1- As already pointed out, we are not to forsake the gathering together of the Saints. 2- This is for praise and worship of God, besides the uplifting, strengthening and edifying of the Body of christ by the Holy Spirit. 3- For the hearing of the Word for learning and growing in God, plus for lost souls to seek God and recieve Salvation. Plus alot more. And if read scriptures from Acts on, you'll find multitudes of reasons why God and christ lead the apostles to first convert people, then get them to gather in homes, then eventually get a building specifically for the gathering together of the Saints. Religions are a part of what sprung into existance, after the "Reformation" of Christianity started around the year 1,000 AD. God had specific reasons for particular Children of His to bring up pertinant points of christianity that needed to be refocused on again, but man, by Satanic influence, rather than combining these points, turned around and accepted them as personal belief doctrines of God's Word, which were eventually called a "religion", as each set became quite popular. But, we cannot condemn "religions", for they, as a whole, do contain the whole Truth of God when all are combined, where none by one or a few together, hold all God's Truths. Also, just remember how Daniel prayed to God for the deliverance of his people from captivity. Daniel included himself as one of those sinners who brought on that captivity, even tho, as a kid at the start, he had no real part in the original sin(s) that brought on the series of captivities. Daniel realized he is a sinner just as bad and guilty as those who actually committed the sin that brought that chastisement on them. Remember as well, God looks at all sin as equally evil and bad, none worse than another save but a few abominations and death sentence sin. So, we are all equally sinful, therefore we have no right to speak ill of anyone else. Remember too, its falable people who make up the Church and set the guidelines. So, we are included in that transgression, like it or not. For we all make mistakes too. God Bless!!
