What are some of your strange food cravings?
A little earlier I had a craving for baked potatoes. I nuked a couple and smothered them with butter. Big red potatoes with the skin on and lot’s of butter. That’s it, just potato and butter.

So… any other strange food cravings?

my cravings usually come in pairs.. i like to eat something really salty.. then cancel it out with something really sweet.

like a bag of potato chips. and then like....ice cream or a candy bar..


but if ive been working all day.. i can eat mash potatoes and gravy all nite!

I am on slimming world, which is a healthy eating plan, so I am craving everything that isnt healthy at the moment.
Having said that this plan advocates lots of artificial sweetner, and I believe it was that that started my stomach problem, so am avoiding it like the plague!
No sweetness, no sugar , aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

I can tell you Jax..... That is people's downfall.... artificial ... this artificial that . Better you have a little of the real thing in moderation than all the artificial stuff. I can drink coffee and tea without sugar.

My downfall is icecream and in the summer I just love to have some but have discovered that frozen yourt is just as taisty.

If I don't have all the junk food in the house, then I can't eat it but then that is ok for me cause I live alone but understand it is harder for families.

This is gonna gross you out, I bet.

I get microwave popcorn (oh about twice a year?), and I pop it well past the suggested time. I burn it, not so it's black, but so that it's browned. Well, if it turns black I eat that, too.

I can't help it! I had burnt popcorn once when I was a kid, and about twice a year I crave it! I got concerned and asked my doctor (at the clinic) about this, and he said that there was a disorder that makes certain people wish for unusual things.

There's a lady he knows, for example, that craves crayons. She'll buy them by the boxes and eat them like chips. For some reason, her brain signals her that it's good stuff. He knew of another woman who ate chalk, and there was a guy who ate burnt matches.

The doc also told me that it could have cleansing properties that aren't known yet. Like charcoal absorbing toxins.

I don't care about any of that...all's I know is that twice a year, I need to have my burnt popcorn.
