Talking Fyi

This is my only form of fellowship at the moment until I find someone I can actually read and study with IRL.

If I seem to be posting a lot of replies it's not that I am being aggressive, I'm just looking forward to an actual conversation about the bible and our faith for strength and encouragement. I want to learn and with your input I can be challenged to learn and read more and when the topic is supported in several places however obscure the passage I want to know.

Do it up!

I pray you find some great fellowship. You will.

I was using only this forum not too long ago.

If you don't post and ask then you don't get answers, Kris and I can tell you since I came here , I have grown spiritually cause this forum has caused me to delve more into the word.

God has also given me a great friend that I can talk spiritual things with and discuss and if you find a person like that , hang on to them as it will also be a blessing in your life .

I enjoy talking to you Kris. You do need to attend a local church were you can be ministered to though.

Kris I agree, you need to find a stable Church that will feed you Spiritually. A good Bible based Chruch where they believe that Jesus died on the cross and through His blood you have salvation. It's good to use the Internet as a tool. But it's more profound to seek a Church that honors the Lord!

Good luck

Hey Kris
Hang in....many of us don't attend church and for many reasons. I don't know that I will ever return......not unless God leads me. This is my only gathering together of the brethren for me too. I don't think anyone minds your postings....at least I sure don't!! So.....carry on......

Although we try meeting with a different church every few months, we usually end up having our meeting here at home. We just can't find a church that actually wants to follow the Bible and not a bunch of man-made traditions.

Cross

Just keep in mind here though that gathering in a congregation has been around since the Old Testament..

Num 10:3 all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Many leave the Church for many reasons. But don't quit the Church because of hypocrites, because you will never re-enter a Church again. One must learn to accept and love one another and pray for one another in love. In Church you will find the most hypocrites "ever" look at the Scribes in Jesus' day. But did that keep Jesus away? Never!

If you leave the Church because you are not being fed spiritually that is another story and you should keep looking.
