Hey, we will always be laughed at and persecuted in the name of our Lord and Saviour , Jesus Christ . Just think of what Jesus did for us . He was not popular in His day either. But our rewards are in heaven , our eternal home ,so look towards heaven and rejoice that people are recognizing that you are a Christian, keep on the road to following Jesus and you will never go wrong. You are in the world but not of the world.

But was probably not meant as a compliment. I was nick-named "Rev" in basic training, but it was done out of respect for my stand as a Christian. Sometimes names we're given are not meant as a compliment.

My old friends were on there way to some city and in doing so they sent me like 3 texts mocking me. Texts like "Are you praying?" One took a picture of a place called 'Club Worship' and said, "You're missing out!" Obviously they were all laughing together at my expence. And then, guess what scripture I found?

4Now your former friends wonder why you have stopped running around with them, and they curse you for it. 5But they will have to answer to God, who judges the living and the dead. 6The good news has even been preached to the dead, [a] so that after they have been judged for what they have done in this life, their spirits will live with God. 7Everything will soon come to an end. So be serious and be sensible enough to pray.

Anyway, I hope that helps.

That I understand brother. I have been called similar but I chose to take it in a good way anyway. In fact to be associated with my Father is a privilege and He promised that I follow Him I can expect the world not to love me. There are far worse things than to be made fun of for being one of the King's kids.
