The forums have calmed down considerably

Another change to the forums after a lot of people got banned from the site. Now it feels really calm and slow like it used to. Before, it was a lot of random threads and there was a 10% increase in debates.

Now that's not happening.

The forum was literally attacked by a group effort with a coordinated plan and the CFS Staff responded to that attack as we do with all such activities. Regulations - 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 3.2a, 6.2 and especially 3.2b were violated even after cautions and warnings were issued. Even though this was a coordinated attack, the CFS Staff treated each individual case as a separate event and treated each individual with fairness. Only after continued violations took place, were any of these persons made to leave. We have logged IP addresses, email addresses, server routing data and if ANY of these persons attempt to return under any circumstances, they will be treated as repeat offenders and their ISP providers will be notified of their activities. This can result in a disconnection from the Internet and our success rate in these ISP notification matters is over 65 percent.

We take our general member's security, safety and forum experiences in fellowshipping, very seriously and those persons who would attempt to compromise our members and their friendly times here at CFS will just not be tollerated.

We provide CFS as a friendly - Christians only - place to meet and to share... this is not a forum for theological and denominational debating nor is it a place where those who believe that they are superior will be allowed to remain long enough to demean others or to push denominational agenda.

We have numerous moderation tools available to us, both inside and outside of CFS and these coordinated attacks have never, ever been successful. This is because of our intense and strict moderation as well as the assistance that we are given by Hosting Services and Internet Service Providers in determining who these persons are.
