I know .... Eh Larry II.... His stuff is so expensive . I have some of his prints and a plate. His work is amazing and he is a Christian as well. I can't believe that people have not heard of him here in North America. His stuff is all over and in Christian book stores.

Hey! I've heard of him! My bible cover is a Thomas Kincaide print! ha! He is also known as the "painter of light" because of his use of light in all his pictures. They just seem to glow.
I've seen calendars and greeting cards and stuff with his paintings on them. Wish I could paint like that.

There are also Thomas Kincaid Galleries in some of the larger cities. He has really marketed his paints to the ultimate. Gift ideas, etc. You pay a pretty pricey figure for a print that one of his helpers has "touched up" with to really reflect the light. I have to enjoy at a distance as it is much too pricey for me.
Books: If you like Christian fiction, Thomas Kincaid writes a good book and has several out. Also, he has several Christmas ficiton novellas. Enjoy.

I also have one of his devotionals and it has a lot of his paintings .... well copies in it . and you're right that's all I can affort . I do have one of his prints and I just love it how he captures the light.

Many years ago I got my wife the Thomas Kincaid womens study bible.
It is an N.I.V. Bible, but also hilights the women in scripture as well as paintings from him and writings and devotionals written by his wife. My wife still reads that particular bible every day. |
