Default Are miracles for today?

Now for God to hear me is a miracle.
For God to answer my prayer, regardless of it's nature is a miracle.
Whether my petition is for a dime or a million dollars, it is a miracle.

Yes and amen, miracles are for today, I'm a witness.

Agreed Don! God is so faithful , even if I had not witnessed miracles I would not be able to doubt Him.

Absolutely! I believe supernatural miracles, where God intervenes upon the "laws of nature" which He has imposed upon His creation, still occur. However I do not believe these are the greatest miracles that occur today. I believe the greatest miracles are those that occur when we humble ourselves before Him and others. Subjecting the human heart to the will of the Creator is in my opinion, the greatest of miracles. I also believe the Holy Spirit's activities within the church is a miracle. When His people exercise their spiritual gifts, whether it be healings and tongues or service and teaching. Anytime the Holy Spirit is at work, a miracle occurs. Any time we pray for something to happen and it happens, a miracle has occurred, even if it appears to have come about by natural means. I believe we fail to give God the glory for far too many things in our lives. This is something I'm trying to instill into the hearts and minds of my children anyway. We should see God at work all around us, everyday, because He is.

Amen, Dermasse

That's good. and yes the greatest miracle is salvation. God is still on the throne and we are seeing more miracles in the church than ever before. Holy Spirit is moving in a mighty way and I believe we are going to see enen greater miracles in our time.

The miracles of God happen all the time. Too many things happen in my life, and chaulking it up as "luck" simply does not work. Here are a few that I believe are actions dictated by our Heavenly Father:

The day I finally took up the offer from a friend to check out the church that he attends, I could not physically make myself get up off the hood of my car in the parking lot. If I did, I'd either have broken down as I entered the building or got back into my car and left, and thus sealing my fate. I waited. My friend showed up. A week or so later I accepted Christ.

One time my wife and I were a bit strapped for cash. Not horrible, but buying stuff at Wally World was a stretch. I got a letter from the IRS saying that I owed $600 on taxes that were done a few years back. Only a few hours separated that notice and my mother-in-law coming over explaining that my wife's great aunt wanted to give us $600 for our newborn.

Every single move I made for my work shows signs of being in the care of God. When my wife and I (and kids) left Casa Grande, Arizona for North Carolina, we had only small issues that would bring most to their knees. My bank flagged my debit card as stolen when I attempted to gas up the moving van in Amorillo, TX. But my wife's worked until Little Rock. A simple call to the bank cleared things up. I towed 11,000 pounds in a half ton F150. Flawless until I changed trailers from a fully loaded down Windstar to my partially stripped project car. That's when a U-joint gave out about a mile away from a motel and a mechanic shop. The starter even gave out inside the shop! A whole slew of seemingly mountainous things happened after that, but we stayed calm and things just fell into place.

Friends that come into my life that help me change my character happen to me all the time. I guess my views seem mundane. But I see the hand of God in my life even though I don't seserve it.
