We see the world today and this world is already lost. It's only going to get worse as the bible tells us " it will be as the days of Noah" which is why God judged the earth with a flood. In what what shape or form is that winning? We are fighting the good fight not to win it but to set the example of those who see us as christians. If we do not stand up and fight for what we believe in, we would not be much different than the world around us.

May I point out that there are many reasons for depression. There are spiritual causes as you suggest but also many that are not due to a spiritual failure.

Depression can be and indeed often is caused by physical bio-chemical problems.

The individual has no more control over these than anyone suffering from any other physical illness.

We would not talk about someone letting themselves suffer from a thyroid problem or letting themselves suffer from any other bio-chemical problem so please do not pass judgment on those who are suffering from depression until you have the full facts of their specific situation.

God should be all I need but I see others happy in His love and I wonder why I cannot feel it as well. I deprive myself of all emotions as I realize the time has passed. The time to look and stop this from happening to me. And even if you don't read this, even if you don't care...can you see what has become of me?

I'm not sure how much more I can take. My head feels like it's full of broken glass. I try to escape and pray, but cannot. Everything changes, as the pain reveals itself. I was rusted and weak, and that was the last straw. My friends are going, my life has no meaning, I'm left to drown in my despair. You might not read this, you might not care... I will still be suffocating.
