I tend to do a lot of things I would like to think are preparing my son for life, things I always follow with the phrase, do as I say not as I do.

I picked up a juicer a week ago, grabbed a parsnip, 5 carrots you could bend in any shape you wanted they were so old, a really yellow yellow onion, and some ginger, and put them in my juicer. A kick start to the day I thoughtf.
My 3 year old was laughing and having fun until the onion hit the juicer blades and filled the house with tear jerking scent. I got a wicked looking concotion of juice.
My wife came into the kitchen wondering why her eyes were watering on the other side of the house just as I slammed the glass of what I'd like to call "natures rat poison" . At this time I entered one of lifes special moments, the calm before the storm, when you 've done something and then you realize in the next second it might have not been such a good idea. I hit the ground when my stomach cramped, I was thinking of calling 911 to get my stomach pumped, and I was very afraid of throwing up due to the taste I would again have to experience.
My son was very concerned, and not at all impressed with the juicing machine, as I slammed a few glasses of water.
I heard, after the above experience, that onions aren't a very safe juice, and if I want to crank it up a notch beet juice will give you hives and paralyze your vocal cords, I have a feeling I'm going to try beets this week, they can't be that bad... just kidding.

Ha ha , !!!!Tyler ,sorry for laughing but I had a juicer that I won and gave it away as a gift to some one else. My uncle juiced carrots until his skin started turning yellow.
