The bible is the fulfillment of all that was in the Ark of the Covenant?

Christ fulfilled all that was in the Ark of the Covenant: Aaron's rod which symbolized the true priesthood and Christ became the new high priest, The tablets were referred to as the testimony of God, His Word, and the jar of manna, the bread of life.

So, it only makes that if Christ is the fulfillment of the rod, tablets, and mann, that Mary is the fulfillment of the ark itself? Mary, who LITERALLY carried the Word, the 'Bread of Life,' and the High Priest around inside of her?

Then there's David dancing before the ark, and baby John the baptist leaping for joy.

David (of the OT) says "How can the ark of the Lord come to me?"
Elizabeth says "But who am I that the mother of my Lord should come to me?"

In the book of Samuel, it says that the ark remained at the house of Obededom the Gittite for three months. Mary also stayed with Elizabeth for three months.

Hi, just thought I'd throw my two cents in. Bo is right when he says that the Woman in Revelations refers to "Jerusalem". In fact, the living Church born from Christ's side is the New Jerusalem. At the same time, the author of the text also wanted to allude to Mary. This is another one of those "both" situations. They don't contradict each other. They don't conflict for a single cell of interpretation, but are in different layers of scriptural understanding. There is more in the Word than we will all ever comprehend. So don't take it for granted that you understand one aspect by dismissing another. I believe the rules say that we shouldn't blatantly ignore one another here and say only our interpretation is right (on the basis of I say so). I do not point fingers at any single person or party. Please understand that I'm here, and we're all here to get to know Christ better.

God bless.

That is an interesting concept Martin. There are so many ways to interpret types and who is to say absolutely that one is correct.as far as what the writer was alluding to one can only guess.
I think of the physical body of Jesus Christ as the Ark as it was a human body fashioned to house the presence of God- He was the bread sent form heaven inside a human body.
I would gladly give Mary 9 months of credit but in truth she was only human and Jesus was God before time and in fact was the Creator of heaven and earth. The problem seems to be a type of deification that is causing confusion amongst some people.

I percieve that there is much wisdom in this Martin and a gentle spirit that brings honor to Christ.

Do you concider the bible as the source of truth concerning biblical matters or things? How simple can it be?

The question still doesn't make sense! Could you try to rephrase it? If I'm interpreting the question the way you mean it to be, only one answer makes any sense at all.

While I take a great deal of enjoyment from discussing am known to be a zealot for Christ and even occasionally dabble in debating scripture if I hurt anyones feelings I want to apologize publicly.

I have been very patient with you! You very well know what I am asking and I will not jump through hoops for your amusement!
