If God doesn't want you to die, he will open your parachute. If his plan is for you to die, then you go along with it.

Look at it this way. We risk our lives every time we get in a car and turn it on and go somewhere, that's the main killer. We obviously don't sin we we risk our lives THAT way...

The thing with me is this… I always wanted to get my motorcycle license. Wanted a bike my whole life.
I didn’t get my license until I quit drinking at 32 years of age. If I would have gotten it sooner,
it would have been very unbeneficial to me. I think it was part of God’s plan. Now I am part of a motorcycle ministry.
I still like to get on and just go for a ride for fun, but I pray every time.

There may even be a Christian skydiving club out there somewhere.
I think that’s the only way I would feel safe to jump.

I think skydiving would be thrilling, but my life insurance prohibits it. That is, my life insurance would be invalidated if I engaged in that activity. It also prohibits my flying a plane, which has been one of my dreams. I also haven't ridden my motorcycle in two or three years bacause all the other traffic makes me too aware of my own mortality. Makes me feel like I'm roller skating in a buffalo herd.

Sinful or not I would never jump from an airplane. I'm not brave enough for that.

Every day, we take a risk to our lives just by setting our first foot out of bed.

It's safer, see, to stay in bed all day where nothing can harm you.

But if you stay in bed all day, it's not going to do you any good. Life would be so boring, so simple. So easy, for some.

This is life, what God gave you.

I've lived homeless and rode a box car across states. I've gone rafting down dangerous white water. I've stood in the company with Janet Jackson, Donny Osmond, Wilson Philips, Technotronic. I've climbed great hills just to pray at the top. I've written books, and I've had thrills that have brought my heart to the point of exploding with excitement!

This is life. God wants you to live it, I think. But if you keep yourself safe constantly, in a cacoon where you know there's no danger...then when are you going to trust in Him to keep you safe?

I'd say go skydiving! Don't take your safety into your own hands, because you'll fail at living. Give your safety to Him and trust Him completely. Live your life with thrills and chills. Take in all that you can while you're here and learn from all things; make sure to give God the glory for all things.

When I stepped off the raft after the white water, I had a new appreciation for life. I felt vibrant and alive! I wanted to scream out to my Lord that I knew what my heart was pumping for. I knew why He put me here...I was thankful that that morning, I was able to open my eyes to a new day and to experience the world as He put it here.

Everything you do, painful and thrilling and boring and so on, makes you who you are. Some things you'll remember even until our Father in Heaven calls you home. Make it worthwhile, I say.

Now that is living life.. wow! and the biggest part is.. TO TRUST HIM IN HIM 100%.. working on that here in my life.

I believe that is is any time we take a gift or a blessing from God and use it in any way other than the way He intended us to use it.

Money, Sex, Alcohol, our speech, our bodies, all are gifts and blessings, but God has given us His Word so that we know how to use them in accordance with His will for us.

I believe that motorcycles, parachutes, airplanes, whatever are blessings as well.

Do it the way God would have you do it.
Educate yourself, take proper classes.
Be SAFE!
Use the safety equipment available. (Also gifts and blessings)

Have a GREAT TIME!
Enjoy the view, the sounds, enjoy LIFE!
Just remember to whom the Glory belongs.

Look at it this way- It will give you a beautiful impression of creation. But, if it is your first time, I would jump with a professional who has done this many times before. I know a few people who have skydived in Switzerland and the companies they went to made them videos of their jump accompanied by music. Perhaps if they do this, you can have yours with some Christian music... It would make a pretty cool video.

I was at work the other day, in the evening, working at one of the houses. The clients were home and the TV was on Funniest Videos. There was a video of someone sky diving. She had an instructor strapped to her back. She looked like she was enjoying it. She opened her mouth as if she was screaming. The wind was flapping her lips wide open… all of a sudden her false teeth flew out and into the wild blue yonder.

If you have false teeth… keep your mouth shut.
