I know Jews don't, neither do Muslims. Aren't pigs unclean?

Please refer to Leviticus 11 (KJV) for a direct scriptural reference to your question.

God gave the Jewish people a promise of divine health and then gave then a low fat, low cholesterol , healthy diet to go with it. We have no such biblical admonitions in the new testament so you are free to choose. However I would recommend moderation for general health reasons. Other than that I would love to bar-b-que some ribs!

Hate pork in all it's forms. so isnt a problem for me.
One Christian I know argues that Pigs were never given for food, so shouldnt be thought of as such?

1 Corinthians 8:8 i think applies here. food doesn't bring us nearer to god, so why differentiate between meats? if i understand it correctly, not eating pork is part of the old law which christ fullfilled by dying on the cross, so we are not bound by it anymore (i think this is in Romans).
