"While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven." (Luke 24:51)
The last thing that Jesus did while being taken up into heaven was blessing His disciples whom He loved so much. It was not unnatural for Him because all that He did while He bodily lived on earth was "doing good to all." He came to save, to heal and to deliver humanity that was going into eternal destruction. He came to bless and now He's coming back to judge. He fulfiled the prophesies concerning Him and after doing everything that was required of Him by His Father, cried out, "It is finished." His work was complete and His faithfulness to His Father was total. The blessing He thus received He now shares with us who have believed in His work on the cross. He is coming back and that's for sure, whether anyone believes it or not, but blessed are those who believe. Hope you are among us who believe. |

Hosea 6
1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. |
