How many of you believe in ufos/aliens? I am unsure on this subject. What can you say from a Christian stand point? What if they actually do come down and meet us one day? I remember one guy on tv said that they wont come down to show them to us is because we are not on the same consciousness as them. Meaning we are self centered and war greedy. What really gets me boiling is when people say aliens/ufos are biblical. I dont recall one thing about them in the bible. Some people really believe Jesus will come from a UFO.
But say, one day, they do actually come down and meet us. What would your thoughts be on the situation as a whole? Also I watched a documentary that they are the Nephilim from Genesis and Numbers. Or Demons.

Who am I to say they do or do not exist.
I have heard many Christians who believe in them and some who believe they are angels..... not my thoughts, just repeating what I've heard. To say something does not exist is very hard to prove, isn't it? There is so much we do not know. We may have alot of surprises in the end..... ![]() |

Please review the Book of Ezekiel 1:1-28 (KJV) and please take the descriptive English words from in Ezekiel 1 back to the root words in Hebrew through a high quality "Strong's Complete Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible" (pre-1991 publication date). For instance, Ezekiel had only seen the wheels on Ox Carts up until that day... the 'wheels' that he was describing, the best that he could, were 'laid on their side and moved as they wished" (paraphrasing). The mention in the King James Version of "the color of beryl" (or amber), if taken back to the Hebrew root wording, means "highly poliished bronze."
Put yourself back in time to the time period when the Book of Ezekiel was written ( around 593 BC) and mentally place yourself in the same set of conditions as Ezekiel was in at that time. How would YOU describe what he had seen? I think that under the circumstances and without having seen anything like this before, that he used wording IN HEBREW that fully described what he was observing really quite well. Another analogy would be to place youself in a frontier town in Wyoming in the year 1820. You are on your horse leaving the Blacksmith Shop and heading over to the General Store to purchase some flour and some kerosene, when all of a sudden a gold colored 2008 Cadillac Escalade SUV pulls up and the driver gets out and starts talking with you while you are still on your horse trying to calm him down. How would you, as a Wyoming resident in the year 1820, describe the Cadillac to your family and friends - never having seen a 'craft' such as that before. If you do the word origin research yourself into the Hebrew language, I'm certain that you will be able to better see in your own mind, what Ezekiel, the Prophet, saw himself when the messengers ('angels' in Hebrew) arrived to show him what was going to happen. This theme is repeated in numerous other sections of the Book of Ezekiel and the entire Book should be read without pause and as an entire concept while using a Concordance to get the original word meanings in Hebrew. |

I believe Ezekiel saw an angel of God- as we can see in the scriptures some of those can be hard to describe and even Jesus was described as having living metal in His resurrected body.
As far as aliens- it is hard to say. There are far stranger things going on in this earth than aliens could cook. The odds are that a small %it is a government smokescreen to cover up military secrets. The rest is human error. I lived near an airport for several decades and I used to watch them in the darkness as I drove to work. From different angles they would appear to take on many strange configurations and this could happen 3 or 4 times on the same flight ( as it and I moved in different directions.) But wait a minute- aliens are real- Elvis is alive- the moon landing was fake- AND WRESTLING IS REAL! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wresting IS real.
lol, jk I can't stand wrestling. It's worse than those action movies that have you saying ya right and rolling your eyes all the way through.

So Ezekiel thought the "ufo" was an angel to show him what was going to happen? I remember I heard one paster who said that, Jesus was an alien and thats where we got all of your stuff from, the aliens. =\

I guess he(the pastor) may have gone on to explain what he meant by that, so it didn't sound so WAY off, but that's certainly a new one on me!!! I always thought of ufos and aliens as being "spiritual wickedness in high places" you know Ephesians 6 v12? The reason for that is that often people who have encountered such "beings" often have mental problems following their encounter, the few occasions I've ever watched anything about it, they seem negatively affected by the experience in some way?? Other people who are "chosen" for such an encounter seem to have been involved in the occult too....??? Of course I'm sure there are many who have researched it more and who could correct me on that. But yes, my understanding was that they were something like the "sons of God" (fallen angels??) described in Genesis 6v1-4 As an aside, I've always found the concept of "life on other planets" hard to comprehend from a biblical perspective. I mean, creation fell when Adam and Eve fell, right? So, would any other life forms also be fallen in that case????? And as Jesus is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, then would these life-forms also be redeemed by His blood?????? Questions, questions... and I guess only the Lord has the real answers...

Here is a great story for the UFO fans:Man whose house was hit by five meteors believes he is targeted by aliens
Posted by Cory The Belgrade home of Radivoje Lajic has been hit by meteorites five times since last November. He has concluded that he's being harassed by extraterrestrials. He said: "I am obviously being targeted by extraterrestrials. I don't know what I have done to annoy them but there is no other explanation that makes sense. The chance of being hit by a meteorite is so small that getting hit five times has to be deliberate." The first meteorite fell on his house in November last year and since then a further four have smashed into his home. The strikes always happen when it is raining heavily, never when there are clear skies.
