Most people wouldn't follow satan boys if they revealed their true looks. They're hideous at heart! Aargh! Terrifying! Just to see them the way they truly look would send your skin crawling and turn your hair white.
So they wear masks. They pretty themselves up. They're the most beautiful people you could ever see. That way, they get ordinary people, the ones looking for instant and temporary gratification, to say "Hey, that looks good...I want to be like that!"
The devil can look like a mouthwatering death-by-chocolate desert to a starving man. The reward is instant. Final. And it only lasts a brief period, but you have to pay for it big-time later on.
Trusting in the Lord brings eternal rewards.
