Hi there,

There was this person who doesnt like me, who discreminates me and say things to **** me off. I know he/she has the influence of Satan (from those discriminations). At that time the only word that comes to my mind to say to him/her is "Satan". I want to yell at her. But the the reason i'm NOT calling that person by that name becasue:
1. I dont know weather it's a sin to call some one by the name "Satan"?
2. He / she holds my gate keys to go to my next acedemic level.

I know the evil things are directed by Satan not the person him/her self. So, Is it a sin to call some one as "Satan", becuase of the evil things that he/she does?

I don't know if I'd call it a sin in itself, but loving your neighbor as yourself means taking the time to examine how what you say might hurt them. They will likely see it as you calling them satan directly, and will not take it very well. If they don't believe in God and Satan, then they're just going to take it as an insult to them.

So don't call them satan, instead turn the other cheak and show that you still love them and ask God to forgive them, and/or tell them what their doing to you and ask them nicely to leave you alone.

Leonidus, when I read your post the Bible passage about "turning the other cheek" came to mind. Mark already mentioned it, but here's the passage anyways.

Luke 6:27-36

[27] "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, [28] bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. [29] If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. I believe that you are a very sincere, genuine young man who as a real desire to please God.
That is wonderful.
But I have also noticed from your many questions on the forum that you are in real need of some solid biblical teaching.
You have so many questions. That is a good thing but you need teaching so that you can grow in your faith and understanding.
I honestly believe that you need to find and get involved in a local bible believing church.
This is necessary if you are to go further in your walk with God.
Please do not just brush this aside. Make finding a good church the priority in your life for the next few weeks.
I want to see you grow as a believer. God has plans for your future.But you need a solid foundation of teaching.
(I am going to post this message in all your recent threads because I feel so strongly about it.)

I'm in agreement with Ray, questions are good, we need to ask them. But you need a good church with solid foundational teaching.

About your question here, God loves everyone, even the ones being influenced by the enemy. You will do more damage to the enemy by loving that person, than by yelling. No matter how angry they make us feel.
