Question How do i pray from the spirit?

I was going through the armor of GOD.
EPHESIANS 6:18 (TNIV) say that "And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests".....

This leads to thses questions:
1. What does it mean by praying in the spirit and how do i pray in spirit?
2. It says to pray in all kinds of prayers. What kinds of prayers are there in total? and what are they?

cheers

Leon, all of the questions you are asking, are answered by being in personal relationship with God.
Praying in the Spirit, is your spirit, praying with the Holy Spirit in glory to God.
There are no set formula's, and the single most important thing that would benefit you, would be to join a Bible believeing, vibrant fellowship, where you can be discipled and encouraged.
Everything with God is about our hearts, He wants us to be open and honest with Him and allow Him to change us through the power of the Spirit , not self effort, or formula's.
Read the New Testament, see what the Apostles did, ask God to work in you and lead you, He wont let you down.

I believe that you are a very sincere, genuine young man who as a real desire to please God.
That is wonderful.
But I have also noticed from your many questions on the forum that you are in real need of some solid biblical teaching.
You have so many questions. That is a good thing but you need teaching so that you can grow in your faith and understanding.
I honestly believe that you need to find and get involved in a local bible believing church.
This is necessary if you are to go further in your walk with God.
Please do not just brush this aside. Make finding a good church the priority in your life for the next few weeks.
I want to see you grow as a believer. God has plans for your future. But you need a solid foundation of teaching.
(I am going to post this message in all your recent threads because I feel so strongly about it.)

I would add ........do a word search of Spirit and a separate search on Prayers...
