One time, I had a dream so real, I woke up and chewed out my son for something he didnt do! I felt bad about that. It was, after all, just a dream!

Most people hated Abraham Lincoln while he was in office, but as soon as he died, people couldn't say enough good things about him. There was quite a large exhibit on that topic at the Lincoln presidential library in Springfield.

A couple of months ago I had a very vivid dream. I was looking up on the horizon in the early evening with a glorious orange sunset. A warm wind was blowing lightly and the sun had just disappeared over the horizon. I saw a door open in the sky on the horizon and I saw a soft blue light shinning off the moon through this door with palm trees near the door swaying in the breeze. A man silhouetted appeared in the doorway. I immediately turned and said "Messiah!" as I turned I was startled to see an older man in white that I have never seen before, in a white linen robe with white hair a bread and mustache. As I turned in my dream and said, Messiah! I actually spoke the word as I woke up from my sleep.

Now, I know that the white haired man was NOT Jesus and I know that the silhouette in the doorway that appeared in the sky WAS Jesus our Messiah. I wondered who the white hair man was, he apparently had been standing with me and the look in his eyes told me that he knew me.

I was sure of my salvation at this point and it was like a mini-miracle to me, my own personal eye witness of the coming of Jesus.

This morning I had another dream. I was standing looking at an earth brown door made of wide wooden planks with a silver colored metal latch on it. The door was not locked from the outside where the latch was located and as I took in my surroundings I got the distinct feeling that the framing of the doorway just out of my sight had ivy which had over grown the outside of the structure. The walls were a soft yellow earth tone and I could see another doorway to the right of this one but I did not look at it directly. I apparently was waiting there for a minute before the door abruptly swung open and I saw a man standing there with a short brown beard and mustache. He had shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a white linen robe with a loose sash around his waist. (In my mind I recognized this as the typical image of Jesus that is normally seen in church). He was only there for a second and I said "Father?" and he replied in a stern voice "No!" and then abruptly shut the door.

I then realize that He would not be the father and that I had not recognized my savior as he was. I went into the room to the right of the wooden door and thought briefly that I should have turned around and walked out of the structure. I immediately thought to myself, "This is where I should be because He is God and Whether I want to be here or not I will end up here in this room. I remember feeling and seeing others there in the same room and I heard murmurs and whispering about the intent of this room. I realized that I was lost and this was where I would be for eternity and I understood that I would be separated from Him who answered the door that did not know me. I was condemned and I knew it because I know the truth of this matter. I had missed the mark and had fallen short of the grace of God. I had been given chance after chance of making a change and I failed to repent of my ways and seek his face instead of the world. I was lost and was going to be lost forever. I felt the ultimate dread in the pit of my stomach.

I woke up sad and a bit unsettled. I immediately started to pray and found an unusual feeling of condemnation surround me. I stopped praying because I really felt that I was lost and there was nothing I could say to change where I was or where I was heading.

I spoke to my wife who was laying next to me about needing to get into a fellowship group and to start reading the bible "with" her. I also spoke to her about finding a spanish speaking pastor in the area that had services some time during the week where she could attend and receive the word. I understand that her being with me on Sunday is not feeding her properly because she doesn't understand most of what's being taught or said. She agreed with me that she needed to find somewhere to get fed the word and that we should still attend church on Sunday as a family.

Unsettled.

I can only speculate, the bible doesn't say anything that would indicate that the spirit can actually be seen by anyone. I thought this too but it also could be an angels that will take up the believers into the heavens during the rapture. I'm not sure but this is all just speculation.

Ya dreams are probably going to be symbolic though, so you could see the HS in your dream even if you wouldn't really see him physically.

That's not good news though, it only reinforces the second dream. If i did not recognize the Holy Spirit then I wasn't saved. I woke up with urgency on my heart and now that you had pointed that out maybe it was suppose to wake me up from my preverbial soul sleep.
