Hi there,
Before I get baptized I have few questions about the pastors, 1. How do I know weather a pastor is a true Christian or not? 2. If the pastor is a racist, how do I know weather he will baptized me by Holy Spirit or some evil spirit? 3. How do I find a church to get baptized? 4. I have been asking GOD to guide me to find a church. he did not answer me through any kind of voice or through a dream but the only church that comes to my mind is the church that I have attended, in which I got offended by the church attendees, the one I quit. Or is GOD telling me to wait? I’m confused! 5. I saw a baptism ceremony. In it there was a group of people who stood next to a pastor (remind me of a jury in a court). After the baptism they say things like giving blessing…etc. People who have given blessing are the one that the baptized one knows personally. But I don’t have any one that I know in here specially Christians. So do I have to have that kind a group of people to witness and give blessing after baptism? Cheers |

My friend as I mentioned in your other thread you are looking for the wrong thing. You do not simply want a Pastor who baptises. You want and in my opinion urgently need to join a good church with a good Pastor who can teach you the word of God and help you grow in the Christian faith. As part of that process I believe baptism is needed but it is not just a case of 'getting done' you need to get involved, learn and grow.
Visit a few local churches. Chat to other Christians in your area. make appointments to chat to some Pastors. Do not just sit back and wait for God to transplant you into a perfect church.

Indeed. “first things first” or…
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It is a holy purification process and is the working of the Holy Spirit to burn away that old flesh.

If you feel the need to get baptized I am more than sure someone will give you a dunk.
