I've been taking note on how people around me act throughout the week, just as a part of a personal experience.
In the office, on Monday, everybody seems cheery. The weekend has refreshed them and they're ready to go! On Tuesday, the frustrations begin and they steadily progress towards being downright rude and cranky on Friday. Last Friday, some of the folks in the office were having a meeting. I was leaving early, as I sometimes do on Friday...and in the parking lot I noticed that there was a vehicle with its headlights still on. I turned around to go back into the office to let whoever know. I stood in the doorway where the three coworkers were having a meeting, and they weren't even talking about work but how another worker sometimes wore traditional clothing (none of these coworkers are tribal members - so none of them hold ownership in the company) when the one worker paused and looked at me and said: "What!?" ![]() "Someone left their lights on," I said, and I turned to walk out. Yeah, a few choice words came to me right then...but from what I've learned from my bible, it's better to hold my tongue. I was only trying to help. This put me in a bad mood. For the rest of the day. Monday rolls around...I'm still a little angry about it, being spoken to in that harsh tone when I was only trying to help. The worker walked past my office door and chimed out in a merry voice: "Good moooorning!" ![]() As if nothing happened! Later on, she came to my door and knocked. I couldn't help it. I yelled: "What!?" She looked like I'd slapped her. But now she knows how it feels. ![]() Anyway - anybody else notice the moods during the week? My own seems sluggish and indifferent on Mondays. It progresses to hyper and cheery on Friday, because the weekend is here. I notice it even in the forum. Maybe it's just me. But God Bless and thank you seem to turn into debates, invasions from agenda groups, fingerpointing at sins of others, etc. Once in a while, the reset button is flicked and everybody gets along great again.

Yeah, I don't have one of those business jobs yet, so I'm not in that kind of routine. If people don't give me the right respect, they don't get my time of day, PERIOD. There's no reason that just because I'm Christian I have to let people who want to get me down walk all over me. That's one stereotype that I am going to change...
