I guess there’s no other time to find answers than now….
Before accepting Jesus Christ Before I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord, I was involved in the occult. I would say I was into the extreme level of occult. I got involved in the occult because I was told that my life would be better. However… it got better and then it got worst, worst and worst. It was like bait for disaster. I would say during these occult incantations my thoughts started to betray me. A voice in my head starts to speak e.g.: In one of the occult spells I would ask certain forces to help me with something and I got dependent on them. Then through time… when I asked help from those forces, in my mind their was a voice and it says exactly the opposite of what I asked e.g.: If I pray from my mouth like “Force of yada yada please help me do X Y and Z” in my head at the same time a voice comes and it starts to pray like “Force yada yada DO NOT help me to do X Y and Z” and I stopped praying. Then I gave us occult because of frustration and stress. For almost 12 years I stayed away from any occult or any religion. But that voice in my head did NOT go away. After Accepting Jesus Christ Last year I’ve accepted Jesus Christ as lord as savior, I’ve noticed after that for like few weeks I did not hear that voice. But that voice starts to come back again. Now it has infected in my Christian prayers. Every time I asked Jesus to help me with something, e.g: Assume the prayer is like “Lord Jesus please help me to do this task….” In my head at the same time that voice starts to say the opposite. But it doesn’t say “Lord Jesus” instead it says the rest like “Please DON’T help me to do this task”. Then I get confused because I don’t know what I have asked Jesus. And I don’t know to which voice Jesus will listen to, will he listen to the words comes out from my mouth or that disturbing / distracting voice / thought comes in to my head. I’m in doubt - To which voice Jesus listens? Does he listen to the voice / thought that comes out from my head or what I say from my mouth? - Because of that evil voice in my head, I don’t know how to recognize a voice comes from the heart. Evil voice blocks me and stops me from doing everything by putting doubt, week faith, confident, depression….etc I can say in a prayer asking GOD something that I want but in my head that voice asks something that I DO NOT want. I’m quite sure that voice cannot be the holy spirit and I don’t know weather Satan has placed any agents in my body. Some times I have to stop praying, because of that voice in my head. Because every time I ask for a positive thing it asks for a negative. This voice influences me on special occasions: 1. When exams are near, it says things to me and put pressure on me to quit studying. It even put negative thoughts in my head to loose confidence that I have in my abilities and skills thus stop me from studying. 2. When I’m going to meet some one special or some one important it put doubt, bad body language…etc in to me The reason I wrote this I got so angry at that voice. Few minutes ago i prayed and ask GOD to help me with my studies and the voice asked for the opposite i.e.: not to help me with my studies. I got confused to which voice GOD will listen to weather it’s a voice come in my head or the voice comes from my mouth? What is this voice in me? How can I get rid of it? What can i do to keep confidence in my skills and abilities that i have? |

seriously, friend, you need a minister to talk to...in person.
I'm just curious, have you been baptized? Listen, when you hear those voices just keep repeating The name Jesus. Please find a man of God and and ask to be prayed over. You need delivered! Don't wait! |

I Have an audio sermon, in it the paster asks to say the prayer with him to receive the Holy Spirit to be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Thats the only baptism i have done. I have attended a church. Paster offered me to give baptism he also said to wait a few weeks. SO i choose to wait till i see a baptism i saw one. In that church no one wants to know me except a few and paster. I like the paster but some of teh questions he asked me has offended me. Becuase those arent the reason why im looking for a church. I told him i want my baptism i said to him so many times He told me that i will be baptized in two week and told me to see a baptisms before. I attended the church to see baptism. I got offended by some people in their due to their ignorence. But i like the paster. But i stopped attendingf that church since the week before the easter. So i did not go to my baptism. If the church has racism then should i attend that church? Thats the only question that stopped me from going there. I'm looking for another church. I asked GOD to guide me to find one. I have browsed so many pages to find one. i found this but i feel bit odd to attend it becuase the images that they have in their website are tempting. I dont know weather i will be talking some one who is really has holy spirit in them or some one who is looking to promote their church. |

I agree with Violet, you need to be prayed for by a Holy Spirit filled christian. If you not been baptised, I suggest you do it as soon as possible so you can be filled with the Holy Spirit.
We are all involved in a battle, and often new christians are thrown into the battle right in the front lines. The bible says it is better to stand together than stand alone. This is why Jesus and Paul sent out apostles in pairs. You need to get into fellowship with christian freinds who can help pray for you. Do not get demotivated, Jesus has already won this battle, He has overcome, He can break the cords of bondage in an instant! Ecc 4:9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. Ecc 4:10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he does not have another to help him. Ecc 4:11 Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone? Ecc 4:12 And if one overthrows him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

This is my personal conviction but you need to be baptized in water.
If you have considered baptism then it must be in your heart. Try not to get offended when a Pastor asks you questions, It's his job. He cares. Your first concern must be your soul, not the people in the church. Make it all right with God and put your trust in Him and he will guide you. Don't waste time doing what you know you have to do! |

The reason why i got offended by teh church attendees is that, i got ignorance and discrimination from them. so i did not feel like home in that church. so i stopped attending that church. Other reason, paster said he baptises me by water infront of the whole church. I guess i'm a bit shy to stand before all that attendees. So i want him to baptize me by water without having attendees as witness. But i only want GOD to witness it. But i dont know weather he will agree to do a private water baptism |

We do not join a church just to get baptised. We join to become a part of that local gathering of believers, to learn together, to encourage and support each other and to serve God together. It sounds as if you were not really wanting to join but to use the church to get baptised.
I fully understand that the Pastor needs to be sure of your motives before baptising you and he also wants to be sure you understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. For one thing baptism is a public testimony so your desire to be baptised in private actually is not a good idea. I feel that you need to join a church spend some time learning more about your faith and getting a good grounding in the bible. I have read many of your questions on this forum and it is clear that you are in need of soild, consistant, biblical teaching. This is something a good church can provide. Tell the Pastor about your past occult involvement and be guided by him. Tell him you want to be baptised but again trust him to guide you as to the right time and place. You are still a young Christian and you need some solid mature Christians to support and teach you so that your future walk with God is built on a solid foundation. God has the right church for you. Seek Him and then obey Him.

I agree with the others. Just agreeing that Jesus is the Savior doesn't quite cut it. You need to be baptized in a Bible based church.
To get rid of the voices, tell them to "go away" in Jesus' name. "Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). (the Lord rebuke thee, buzz off, take a hike, get lost, any of these will do) I've also found reading the 27th Psalm before going to sleep does wonders if you have the kind of spirit pestering you that won't let you get a decent nights rest. God is more than willing to chase the little monsters off, but you have to ask. |

My Friend, increase your faith. Do something good and tender. Take your heart's amount of money, stick it in an envelope, and shove it under a church door...never speak of it - never tell anybody what you did. Find someone down and out on his luck in the streets and bring him home for a warm meal. Think back on someone who might have offended you in the past (and may have been wrong), find them, and apologize to them...make them your friend. Buy some flowers and randomly deliver them to a hospital or nursing home.
Search your house for all of your occult-things and throw them away! Don't think about how much they cost or whether or not you can sell them to someone else...just toss them out! Do it with cheer in your heart, because you've been set free. Read your bible, take it into your heart, and know that it's a book of instructions for you - not a list of sins for you to watch out for in other people. A book for you. One day soon, your faith will be strong enough and you'll have Christ's love in your heart to the point where evil will fear you. Thats the true power, my Friend. I know some turn to the occult because they feel powerless in their lives and magic would give them the unfair advantage. But true power comes when Christ in you is strong. For His glory. You have to feel it in your heart and believe without doubt. Faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain, and evil will run in terror from it. Build up your faith for God's glory, my Friend.
