I didn't know this Neocitrin (sp?) tea stuff was so powerful. Aprarently you're only supposed to have about 1 cup every 6 hours. But I didn't know, I thought it wasn't much different from plain tea, and had 2 cups in 10-15 minutes.
I just craaaashed. I got so sleepy so fast...I struggled to get a few words out. I was high. As I slept I felt like I left my body and floated around. It was an accident I'm sure God forgives me lol. I've never overdosed medicine before. It says not to take it if you take an inhaler. Read the back of boxes guys...

I had to look it up to see what it was- it is a cold remedy and can certainly make you drowsy. All medicine should be treated with care- so yes- read the labels.

The instructions usually don't apply to me.

Good thing I didn’t know about that stuff when I was still drinking, (it probably didn‘t exist yet though), I would have mixed it with my whiskey just to see what happens.
![]() Kids… don’t try this at home… I’m a professional alcoholic with years of experience.

GREAT point Jax!
There's the moral of the story.

I used to be able to drink a case of beer and not get drunk. Drugs, alcohol they were my breakfast, lunch and dinner. My loving Father completely delivered me and now my head spins if I eat rum cake. Children's cold medicine knocks me out and makes me groggy for days.
