Sometimes I just can't stand them. I was debating with one fellow and all he could do is cuss at me and tell me how I am wrong. Said I believed in fairy tails. He said this: If god could be proven, your belief would no longer require faith. And because the bible says that you are saved by grace through faith, proving that god is real would sentence you to an eternity of suffering. Id say 9/10 atheist I have met are arrogant, selfish, prideful, lustful. I really believe its just an excuse for you to do those fleshly sins. Without being held accountable to their creator. They think its fantasy. I was brought up in an atheist home. And was taught that. When I was little, I don't know why, but I refused to believe it. I remember trying to find out because I would ask my self who created us. Then I met my best friend in elementary school and he introduced me to God. I believe his purpose for knowing me is to do so. I am sure he had many more for other people. Unfortunately now, he is passed away. If you are into conspiracy theories there is more reasons to not doubt God. Because from the information I know about them, they are real and coming true.
I just don't know what to tell Atheist when they say faith is not good enough =( They need more. Well when you see your self the fire and brimstone will that be enough? Probably not =( |

I don't know about you, but i'd much rather have faith in God then to hear his voice THUNDERING down from Mt. Sinai. After hearing the voice of God, seeing him call down flames from Heaven, how much higher will your expectations be after this encounter? Certainly it is better to have faith in Him before these things occur as to having to "see to believe"
Atheists dont want to see the Son of Man, the Rider on the White Horse coming back to reclaim his spot. The one they treat with little value. O what a travesty!

Far: Be careful!
Sounds like you are being careful, just keep on doing what you're doing, because you have solid ground under your feet, my Friend. The devil is going to use tricky arguments. He's going to twist words and make them seem right. He's going to play with the tongues of the atheists and agnostics and make them say things that a person new to Christ might confuse with inarguable fact. The devil knows the bible, every verse, and he uses it for his own sick objectives. But if an atheist or agnostic didn't believe in God - then why are they such experts on the bible? What made the pick it up and read in the first place? It would be like a huge, heavy tome filled with nothing but blank pages, on the best sellers list. Everybodys buying it and believes in it...so you go out and buy a copy. It's blank. You don't see anything there, but you buy it and go page by page seeing nothing. That's what the bible is to them. They learn nothing from it, because there's nothing for them in it. They're against the words, and they're doing their best to defy it, so they don't deserve the Word of God when they seek it with their own proud hearts for their own glory. You're doing good, my Friend! Never lose your faith. ![]()

I’d say it’s best to just stay away from those who don’t even want to listen to the truth. They aren’t ready to hear it yet.
A bumper sticker came to mind just now. The best one I’ve seen in a long time. “If you don’t believe in God… You better pray that you are right”

sounds like you ran into a real "winner"
there's an old saying "never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". I've had many a conversation with the hard core atheist types. One was so convinced that there were no absolutes that he refused to admit that water was wet. I could almost sense the beast wispering in his ear. You must remember that you are not so much arguing with a mortal, but a mortal pawn and the beast that owns him. They seem to have and endless suppy of clever arguments against the existance of God. From a logical standpoint none of the arguments can hold water, but it's almost impossible to have a reasoned debate with anyone these days. Don't let them bother you, and more importantly, don't let them waste your time or patience. |

I have a couple of friends who are atheist and we can manage to discuss Christianity without one of them ridiculing my beliefs or be condescending. I have the feeling they are atheist because they fear the idea of something greater than they, greater than man.
The arrogant atheist on the other hand I believe is just full of hate due to something that happened to them in the past. |
