Sometimes I just can't stand them. I was debating with one fellow and all he could do is cuss at me and tell me how I am wrong. Said I believed in fairy tails. He said this: If god could be proven, your belief would no longer require faith. And because the bible says that you are saved by grace through faith, proving that god is real would sentence you to an eternity of suffering.

The important thing to remember is simply cling to your faith. If God had wanted people to believe through evidence, He would and could have of course provided consistent, verifiable evidence that anyone could understand. Obviously, he has a plan whereby we need to believe only through faith. Plainly, this person is very upset not to be part of it. Atheists will only try to confuse you using vage "scientific" concepts which they label rational, since rationality is their god.

I really believe its just an excuse for you to do those fleshly sins. Without being held accountable to their creator.

Atheists just deny God because they want to be free to run wild. They also oppose the legal system for this reason. It's a hedonistic philosophy where only the self matters, so stealing, raping and killing is okay. After all, to them, there isn't any such thing as morality anyway!

Athiests are a real puzzle to me too. How can you live in a world full of miracles all around us and not be able to see intelligent design? But rather think that everything just happened. I just don't have the extreme "faith" that it takes to be an athiest.
Of course if we are an athiest then we are absolved of any moral responsibility in this life. A kind of defense mechanism that allows us to live as we please and do as we like.
One of the main reasons that I hear all of the time is "I don't believe in God because if there were a loving God he wouldn't allow such evil in the world." Well, you know the answer to that one. It's exactly the opposite.

I think these atheists are just confused. It's pretty plain that God does not allow any evil in the world. Evil things are of Satan.
Atheists simply refuse to accept any truth. LIke, in a discussion with one person I mentioned Noah's ark and the flood because that is an extremely clear demonstration of faith...he wouldn't have made the arc and taken the animals unless he seriously believed. But the atheist I spoke to refused to accept it and asked me dumb questions like where the water had gone after the worldwide flood. And then he threw a bunch of scientific "proof" that mt Everest had never been covered with water at me. Well, maybe Satan disguised the evidence of the flood to confuse people or maybe God did to test our faith and devotion, but to not even accept what's written in the Bible, wow. It
plainly says it's the
word of God, how can someone not believe that??? When it's written right there?
