Hi there,

i was watching the beautiful page of Ecclesiastes 3 posted here by "Dusty" . GLORY TO GOD!

When i was reading those narratives, there was this line:
"a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build"

Are we allowed to kill?

there was another line:
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Are we allowed to hate?

Please explain as this is the first time I’ve read "Ecclesiastes". it's so beautiful The word of GOD is so beautiful. Are there other books like "Ecclesiastes 3" in the bible with those sort of line?

Leon...... I think we need to think more about "time" as it is emphasized here in 8 verses. God's timing is perfect and He sets an appropriate time for everything

At the right time Christ was born Gal 4:4. Don't run ahead of God's timing.

The author encourages us to use "time " wisely. How we use our time reflects our values and understanding of our eternal destination.
