YES!!!

That's how dreams come true. That's how we can build mountains. I don't wake up one morning and say, "some day I'm going to write a book." It takes what you have, my Friend...determination and faith in the Lord.

God gives us small grains of sand. We take each grain and apply it to our goals. One day...we'll be standing atop a huge mountain, built one small grain of sand at a time.

Indeed you can go to Church for 60 years and still be sucking a milk bottle or you can be young in Christ but hungry for His presence and Word- that makes all the difference.

rather than start a new topic I might bring this thread back from time to time if I stumble across roadblocks.

I'm so serious about this book and I'm doing research. I want to answer the common questions of athiests/non believers. But I'm having a problem-I do research on what nonbelievers say and I'm finding their statements are weakening my faith because they make good points and I don't know the answer to their questions. So what does God want me to do? Why would He want me to continue if it's weakening my faith?

Also, I'm having some doubts because after watching the Rational Response Debate (A debate between athiests and Christians Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort), I'm finding that the athiests are not only making valid arguments, but I'm also finding that I'm no where near intelligent enough to help try to prove the existance of God. I know I believe cause He's in my heart, but in his debate they were discussing fossils, and micro evolution, macro evolution, things I know nothing about.

I realy think God wants me to write this book but I'm so confused now because I'm at a loss...

Well, perhaps you can do some reading from some authors like C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton to resolve your doubts.

That's what's called a spiritual fire, IHL. It consumes your every waking minute, takes up all of your thoughts, it feels so good when you're thinking about it, doing it, achieving it.

God's grace has fanned these flames inside of you, that's why you're so driven to do it. Remember, my Friend! Do it all for Him.

Every day, go down onto your knees and tell Him thank you for making this all possible. Tell Him that you're going to continue for His glory--not yours. This gift that He's given you, it came from Him...admit that to Him every day. He'll keep on feeding the flames in your heart with this passion just as long as you're grateful and give Him the glory!

He's Wonderful, isn't He?

God is making everything so obvious. All week I've been wanting to read The Case For Christ, contemplating if I should buy it off amazon and there you go recommending it. THIS KIND OF STUFF KEEPS HAPPENING TO ME!!!

Today I took some strictly research books out of the library, one was on evolution but I quickly realized that the author has an opinion too, there's always a bias which I wanted to avoid either way. Anyway, I read a good amount of this book and the evolution theory was really convincing (not that I beleived it all, but it was kind of giving me doubts unfortunately.) so how do I go about this? I wanted to draw my own conclusions on the evolution/creation theory, but it seems it's weakening my faith. How would God want me to go about this, do you think? I don't want to seem robotic and just repeat anything the (Christian theory) tells me, I wanted to draw my own comclusions, now I'm just at a loss.

Sometimes I feel educating myself is not ALWAYS 100% good...
