Smelly...for years, I was alone. I had nobody to share my life with, I did everything by myself: movies, concerts, etc. It used to hurt me to see other people so happy together, and I wondered where was mine?
One summer, I climbed to the top of Prayer Rock on the reservation, and I stayed there most of the day. Tears fell, hot heavy tears. I poured my heart out to God there; I told Him exactly what I was looking for, right down to personality traits. This prayer was so deep that it drained me. The next weekend - I mean the very next weekend - I met my spouse. The person that I had prayed for, exactly. Down to mannerisms, beliefs, thoughts, height, weight, hair colors, so on. It was a reply in respect to my spouse, Smelly...I just thought that I would give my Lord the credit. While He gave me free will, He also gave my spouse free will. We had a hard time finding each other...but it's been ten years now and we're still in love like it was day one. I give full credit to God, Smelly. Full.

LOL - smelly. We both have free will, of course. But if God didn't tip the benches up at opposite ends, we wouldn't have slid together to meet in the center.
 I just give Him the glory, because without Him I'm nothing.

it puzzles me,God watches over us and helps,in ways we will never know.but to say a women is brought to a man without there free will,is not God.so i believe God gave you the opportunity,but not taking away free will.this is why we are special.

If a person is walking in the Spirit, listening for His leading, sometimes the Holy Spirit will tell them "go to such and such place". They dont know why they are being told to go there. They have the choice in whether or not to go. Then when they get there, the Holy Spirit tells them something else. Like "go talk to that person". They still dont know what's up, they still have the choice. If the person chooses to follow the suggestion, they may have a divine encounter. A time when they meet up with someone that they can either minister to, make a connection that will be of benefit to either down the road, or any number of things could happen because of it. Often times, a person is not aware of being asked to do or go, but it seems like a good idea. They still have a choice in whether or not to do or go. Its not being a robot, or controlled against their will. Its still thier choice.
Sometimes, the incident seems rather random, but later, days, weeks, years even, something happens because that person chose to do it. It happens more often than people would think. This type of thing has saved lives, healed relationships, brought people together, the list goes on and on. Just my 2 cents worth.
